It's been over a week now since I quit my stressful job at a call center and I've got a bit more time to spend on LL. It's good to be here. I always feel like this is a place where I can just relax and talk to like-minded individuals.Anyway, I've been feeling very fatigued lately after quitting my job. At first, quitting my job felt VERY liberating and I had more energy than ever. However, that only lasted for a day. As the week went through, I have found myself almost bedridden. I'm not sick or anything, it's just that I've been feeling EXTREMELY tired on most days to the point that I do not ever feel like getting out of bed. Today, I realized what was happening, so I had to push myself to get out of bed and get some household work done. I always get 8 hours of sleep, if not more. I also meditate for a bit each day, but that has not been helping. I think I'm doing it wrong? I live right downtown in my city, so there's definitely a lot of psychic noise here. I'm especially super sensitive to energies this year for some reason. Only reason I could think of is having my solar return ruler in the 12th house (Moon in Cancer). I honestly have no idea on what else to do. I'm not even working right now. I should not be feeling like this at all. I'm gonna be starting my new job on Monday on another call center, which I know is a bad idea and I'm quite terrified I'll have the same experience, but I need the money. There's this job at a restaurant I'm waiting for but my friend has not contacted me yet, although he said his boss wanted me to come in for an interview. I'm just afraid I'm gonna feel the same kind of stress, if not even worse if I go back to a call center job. I could probably handle it if I could find a way to block out the energies that I absorb from the customers. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them. I'm a very untrained empath. I just don't know how to protect myself spiritually. IP: Logged |

1. Put up a protective shield of light around you like a bubble of light, and fill the bubble with love energy - either bring up a feeling of love or imagine baby pink light whichever works for you, and make this shield impenetrable. Think of protection, safety, and balance. Imagine it a God's protection shield, if you're so inclined. 2. say mentally or out loud, you may need to do it many times until it sinks in "I deny to any person or being whatsoever the power to influence me psychically or astrally without my consent. I neutralize them by this denial." IP: Logged |

Solar, if you were at a call centre you were surrounded by gadgets, computers and other electronic equipment. This, in contrast to being in nature, would have been exhausting and depleting for your energy. This in addition to the social aspects of working there. I think as a corrective or balancing measure you would be helped by spending time in nature surrounded by plants and trees. You could lie on the grass and practice shavasana (the death pose) - this is deeply relaxing. IP: Logged |

@ Solar_Leo_Queen:in response to how you feel right now: 1. You feel very fatigued after quitting your job - because your body releases stress, it always happens after the situation is over, it's a biological self preservation mechanism. It would be too taxing otherwise. But you need to recharge and get back in balance balance. So, watch your diet, it has to be clean, and drink enough water. Listen to soothing music without words, classical like Vivaldi's 4 Seasons or any of Mozart - the frequency of it is harmonious and balances energy. 2. Remember that thoughts are energy too, so expect only the best. You need to stay in the present, without worrying ahead about things that haven't entered reality yet. Your sacral or solar plexus chakra may be in overdrive, try pilates exercises they strenghten the core and will help you relax. I personally don't like yoga, but do whatever works for you. If you feel stress coming up get up and do 10 jumping jacks, it helps. 3. Change your perspective on this job. Think of it as you (a light worker) going there to helps others. You have a great gift, not an impediment. Your strength lies in understanding people, and that's a great asset to have. You're not going to soak up their energy, you are going to let yours shine. 4. A tip from business perspective - people like people who like them, so disarm them with kindness. good luck tomorrow IP: Logged |

Thank you so much for your replies, guys I'll definitely try them out. It's gonna be a bit harder to get outside and ground myself in nature, what with the winter months just around the corner, but I'll try. I might even buy a couple plants for my living room. That might probably help.IP: Logged |

A plant in the room you sleep in will help. IP: Logged |

I've felt like this for the past week or so too! Someone said apparently there's a bug going around that drains you like a flu but without the sore throat, coughing, etc. Just fatigue. Not 100% if it's true or not but I've been so lethargic - my body just wants to lie in bed and do nothing while my mind is going around in circles wondering what's wrong with me. Lack of focus, direction, etc. IP: Logged |
