What are good and safe Halloween spells to do? I don't want a magic spell to contact the dead as I believe that is bad luck for me, so any other spell (love, lick, money etc.) is welcome. Thanks!IP: Logged |

The magic is supposed to be magnified on All Hallow's Eve. IP: Logged |

Tradition wise, the magic of Halloween is typically focused on divination than creation, and on love. But those traditions don't seem to be as relevant today as they were back when you were expected to be married (for life) before you outgrew your teens. You should be able to find plenty of examples at your local library (even the children's section may have a divination or two). If it were me, I'd see Halloween as the Cauldron from which we sprang and one day shall return (life and death), and concentrate on something I want gone from my life (or myself) or transformed, tying it to Midwinter (that is, hoping it works by then), which I would then use magick to create something new to fill that void (and to prevent the same thing from taking its place). Note that magic typically takes the path of least resistance. Also, some things that are bad or painful are actually necessary and you're doing more harm than good in trying to bypass it. That aside, people have different paradigms for working magic that work best for them. Due to my life experience and/or natal chart, I find a creative approach best, and I can never use the same spell twice as creativity and individual design are too important (that is if I want the same thing then I have to create a new spell for it each and every time, though I can consult magical lore for inspiration). Others will find that they need a much more formal, ritual approach, or a religious approach, for it to work for them. I'm even hearing of people in the computer industry who have found ways to work the Law of Attraction (much more complicated than most people give it credit for) by a paradigm of the cosmos being a computer hologram that can be hacked, at least in small ways. You'll have to figure out which paradigm works best for you. IP: Logged |

Actually, this past Halloween was a great time to manifest as there was a new moon on the 30th. Try again at the full moon (the day before - up to the exact time). Light some colored candles representing your needs, dress with the appropriate herbs and focus on what you want to cast. I do not recommend anyone try to summon the dead. They will contact you if and when they want to. However, I am all for casting positive spells / positive manifesting - abundance, love, career, good health, etc. IP: Logged |
