Hello everyone, One of my good friends came over earlier today with various crystals that she has obtained. She was showing them to me, she also learned that she was a shaman in a past life from a psychic that she went to. While I was holding one of the crystals which I learned was rainbow obsidian heart crystal. It made me extremely emotional. I began to cry, even after I gave it back to her she had them in a bowl next to me and I could still feel its energy and it made me cry. Not sad, just emotional. It touched me. I also held another crystal called blue kyanite and it gave me the most awful headache. She just left and I can still feel the headache. She also went inside my room and felt a very strong energy. She mentioned that it wasn't bad just really strong. Any tips or suggestions would be helpful..?IP: Logged |

Rainbow obsidian can help treating childhood or past life traumas, so perhaps it triggered you somehow. I don't know concerning the blue kyanite. I guess everyone has different relationships with the different crystals according to their natures. I also assume, according to your description, that you are very sensitive.IP: Logged |

Hello, thank you for responding. This definitely resonates with me, I was sexually abused as a child so that may have been the cause. I now can't stop thinking of it, so I will be trying to get this crystal for myself as soon as possible. IP: Logged |

I JUST started working with my rainbow obsidian again recently.. Although, I decided to switch it out for my Lapis Lazuli for a bit.To me, even though rainbow obsidian is maybe relatively gentle when compared to some obsidian, I feel like the energy can still be VERY raw and it can be very revealing.. Although, it always brought me a certain sense of stability. Kind of a rest after a weary journey. Even though, it's odd in that it seems to be very confronting even within that at times and can really draw out emotion. I tend to feel as if though I'm able to express myself with a lot less restraint. That may be partly from the turquoise inset I have in that pendant though. I feel like, even though it is grounding, it releases restraint on the self, including emotion, at times. I swear, kyanite has always seemed to do weird things with me lmao.. I feel like it is VERY stimulating to the ethereal and astral bodies.. At least at times. I tend to have a lot more pre-out of body experiences when wearing it. (Although, I'm usually too anxious to attempt leaving my body) and some other really bizarre experiences within different states of sleep and such. I don't know.. I guess I feel that rainbow obsidian can also bring forth grief that hasn't been dealt with and can help with the process of grieving. Sometimes, as mentioned of course this could be from another incarnation.
I feel like.. Rainbow Obsidian helps to shine light on things and that it helps us to understand polarity. In saying this, at times, as I've already kind of mentioned, it may shine light on emotions (including grief) that haven't been dealt with or haven't even neccessarily been noticed in their entirety. There are definitely crystals out there that I believe can trigger responses such as crying.. But, different ones do it for different reasons. IP: Logged |

Omggggg, yesss! It was so aggressive, even after I didn't have the crystal in my hand anymore. I had it next to me, and it was almost like it was shooting out energy at me. It was extremely strong, I'm not sure about the past life thing. That could be a reason, I have a lot of karmic experiences especially with my personal relationships. It was a really interesting experience. IP: Logged |

If you continue working with either of these crystals, if you don't mind, could you give us an update or two at one point or another? I'm curious to see how they work with you. Of course you don't have to either though IP: Logged |

I heard that kyanite is very powerful when it comes to opening your third eye, that could be the reason for your headachesIP: Logged |

Kyanite is a self- clearing stone and resonates with higher frequencies, so if you have a headache from it may be cleansing you of negative energies or raising your vibration to where you could have had a healing crisis. If not, then the negative or lower vibrations in you are battling for control convincing you to rid yourself of the stone. It's a very positive stone, so it should not cause discomfort. All stones should be cleared when you first get them because they are subject to programming like all of us. They are collections of energies like us too. A good way to clear them is to set your intention: "It is commanded that this stone be cleared of all negative energies and restored to its original vibrational state in its purest form and it is asked that it share its secrets with me" You can add to it for it to be programmed to work with you for your ultimate good and the good if all. Rainbow Obsidian is a wonderful stone Really like that oneIf you want to purchase a good crystal and gem stone book, and only want one book, this is a good one: The Book of Stones By Robert Simmons and Naisha Ahsian If you don't find your stone in there, here's another large volume: Love is in the Earth: Crystal and Mineral Encyclopedia By Melody IP: Logged |

I find just about every stone in these 2 books and very good info. I like them better than the small pocket books but small books are sometimes more convenient and costs less. To me they are a waste of money because I'm practical and appreciate helpful and accurate stone information. IP: Logged |

@ Bby_Scorpio: I'm sorry to hear about your childhood experiences. There are stones specifically for healing sexual amuse and traumas. I will try to find out which ones. There are stones that are specifically for you, too, and waiting to find you, If there is a gem or crystal shop in your area you may want to go check out the inventory. You will know what is for you when you find it (or it finds you). Also, a gem show or spiritual expo can be a lot if fun bIP: Logged |

Hi Bby_Scorpio,Though as traumatic and sad your past experiences were, they prepared you for that moment, The stones brought forth and highlighted your sensitivities, opening a portal of continued growth and development if you choose progress in that direction. The rainbow obsidian gave you your very first lesson: the importance of taking care of your own healing before all else. I get the feeling rainbow obsidian has more to share with you. Get one and learn. You may find out more that any book can offer by going directly to the stone(s) yourself. If you choose to step forward with crystals, enjoy your journey. By the way, if you are looking for crystal instruction and their use in layouts for personal transformation, you may want to do a search on Mika Nelson. He teaches up and down the East Coast of the USA, He used to teach and test students for Katrina Raphaell. Take Care, Pathseeker IP: Logged |

Hi just chiming in as I had a similar experience with rainbow obsidian. I worked with it for about a month and then I found an amazingly powerful but gentle stone called dumorteirite. It helped me to gently release a lot. I carried it with me for a couple of months and slept with it next to my bed or actually in my bed sometimes! I found it to be a very loving and helpful stone. Oh my goodness.. I just got done cleansing my Dumortierite and putting it outside before I read this. I completely agree with what you said about it. I actually was just explaining to a friend a few days ago that I've always felt that, while Dumortierite can be very strong at times, it seems to be strong in a somewhat delicate way. Strong, yet oddly subtle at times. I was also going to explain to my friend that I feel like Dumortierites energy, on the level of like.. color/light.. I felt like along with it emitting a few hues of blue, that for whatever reason I felt like it might possibly emit a very small amount of pink energy as well. (Possibly causing a very slight blending into a type of violet) I'm not sure if you're a color-oriented person.. but, that definitely does back up about what you say about it being a gentle, loving stone. Dumortierite was always one of my favorites. I've been feeling a bit of a "need" to work with it. Seeing this post when I did kind of just reaffirmed that. IP: Logged |
