Hi there!

I haven't been on this forum in quite some time, so greetings to all.

I was performing a candle ritual under the waning moon energy to release a situation that is going nowhere, at the time being, but is plaguing my brain. I infused the candle with my intention to release it peacefully and gratefully for the good it had done me, but that it was time for it to leave my energy sphere. I lit the candle, watched it for a bit and then turned my back to go into the other room. No windows open, no doors moving - the candle fell over and broke the glass that was containing it.

I cleaned up the glass. Found a more stable home, restated the intention and relit the candle. It took a few days to burn down (i snuff it out, not blow) and restate when i relight.

It burnt down with a decent speed, but when it got down to the end, the flame started acting up. Got really big and active, thrashing about. Seemed to me in protest.

I had the sensation that the energy of the other person was balking my removal ceremony, but I don't know if that's wishful thinking. ETA: The removal was for a gentleman who cares for me but doesn't wish to make a step forward.

Anyone have experience with candles?
Thanks!!

I don't know much about candle rituals, but it seems as if the flame, if it was acting up, may have something to do with your incantations maybe not being correct. Instead of jumping to conclusions about the other perdon's energy you may want to try again rewording your incantation and/or rethinking your intentions.
