I don't want to offend anyone. Also, if this is not the right place, please move thread.

I am not sure if those that believe in reincarnation are aware the belief would nullify the entire purpose of the Holy Bible. Just making sure you were aware of that. Either way you choose is respectful with me.

One explanation to explain associated phenomena could be genetic memory. It is possible we can navigate through our ancestor's genetics because they are figuratively alive within us.

What do you think?

Here is the key IMO. It is listed in the "Gene" book. Might be surprised how many aren't aware of it.

Maybe the process of reincarnation doesn't care about what's written in the Bible? Just like Sun probably doesn't give a sh#t about whether we think it revolves around the earth or the earth revolves around the Sun?

I've known people who take the Bible literally who also reconcile it with reincarnation. The way they typically do it is like reincarnation is a sort of Limbo, neither good enough for Heaven nor bad enough for Hell. And so they have to work it out on this plane before they can fully leave it behind, with only remarkable lives (or at least a very solid choice as opposed to a wishy washy one) leading to eternal Heaven or Hell. Of course some see the idea of reincarnation as a way to get around the idea of a god that would condemn people to Hell for not accepting Jesus, especially when they may have never heard of Jesus, or had only under the most terrible circumstances so they saw Jesus as a terrible being and Christianity an evil religion.

And then when I went to a UU (Unitarian Universalist) church a few times the general consensus was that the Holy Bible was INSPIRED but also imperfect due to human limitations and therefore to be taken with a grain of salt, and certainly not literally. The Bible (including New Testament) condones all sorts of horrible stuff, after all, including slavery. Though most UUs I met had a strong respect for the Bible (without taking it literally) I'm only aware of some also believing in reincarnation. But as they ultimately based spirituality upon behavior (that was typically in opposition to the Christian Right) rather than belief, then the necessity of accepting Jesus is nullified (though still an honorable thing to do) so reincarnation isn't really a problem. Jesus, like Buddha and others, were there to point the way, as opposed to being THE way.

Of course not everyone accepts the Bible is true. This isn't to be mistaken for rejection (not unless they get to know it first and perhaps used to be Christian, and even then it doesn't make them bad people for doing so), but it simply has no power or relevance to them, just as the Koran has no power or relevance to most Christians.

And even for those who do...even within the same denomination are libraries of theological theories that are opposed to each other and can be cause bitter divisions (sometimes leading to still new denominations, but not always) over the true nature of God and what the Bible meant on this point or that. There are even different versions of the Bible that include some that take make a very different translation from other versions (and these differences can be of great importance to some denominations). It should be noted that translating ancient languages into a modern readable text is going to be problematic, so a certain level of uncertainty on what was exactly meant or intended is unavoidable.

TY for your replies. I understand where you both are coming from. If you don't understand the key, please ask.

For example, tapping into the Anti-Vertex on a natal (or the Moon's SN). Instead of past life, if would be the life of ancestors bound through our own "alive" DNA. In a sense, they are still alive. I think that would work with the Holy Bible.

We could be able to see through our ancestors lives. That could explain deja vu too. I sense it could prevent us from going back more that 15 generations though.

It (at least not all) reincarnation memories can't be genetic because the memories come after conception. Like one little boy remembered being his grandfather and amazed his family as he shared details he couldn't have known, including in the last few years of his life (the memories of which couldn't be transferred to the child, at least not by hereditary). There are others in which being related is extremely unlikely.

What intrigues me the most is what I call the "stigmatic memories." These are like where someone remembers say being shot, and they'll have a very visible mole or other mark on their body where the killing wound took place.

Hi!

I don't understand why do you think reincarnation nulifies the purpose of the Holy Bible.
I would like to know what you mean.
Sorry maybe I don't know enough about christianity for me to understand this.

Thanks!
