Six days ago, I gave away my beloved cat Astra, who has been with me since she was an 8 week old kitten. My heart broke when I had to give her away because I have become very attached to her and treated her as if she was my child. I was crying for the first two or three days but I have gotten accustomed to not having her around. However, my mind still thinks she is with us still. Every time I am about to leave school to get home, I get excited because I think I’m gonna see her like I used to. When I’d get out of the bathroom, I feel like she’s waiting for me outside in her little corner. When I get up from bed, I’d anticipate getting out because I used to greet her good morning when my bf didn’t feel like letting her in the night prior.

It might be just a habitual thing. It may be not. I explained the feeling to my bf and he says her energy is still lingering in the air.

I spoke with her new owner today and she said she was doing fine. I already told her if it doesn’t work out, Astra is always welcome to come home.

I don’t know if it’s just me that has had this feeling. I’ve had pets in the past, but I’ve never had this with them before. My old dog, I had to leave him when we immigrated to Canada. I’ve had two cats and when they went missing, I didn’t feel this feeling with them. Maybe it’s just because the bond with them is not as strong? But then again, I had treated my old dog almost the exact same way as I did her, like my child.

Maybe she's dropping by in the astral while she sleeps.

Unfortunately not, Randall. The people I gave her to were a nice couple who replied to my Kijiji ad online. They are a well-off family and I know she will be very much taken care of. I never asked them if I could visit. It’s just hard because I have gotten quite attached to her.

Do pets do astral projection too?

Yes, I believe where there is a strong connection (Love), pets will be astrally drawn back.

Very interesting Randall. I’m gonna look further into this. I terrified of astral projection, but I wanna see if it’s possible to “visit” her astrally.

Thank you.

Unfortunately not. I’m afraid she might be completely gone out of my life 😟
