I havent verified this as fact... but it is best to be safe than sorry, so I pass it along to all animal lovers who have pets.

some floor cleaning products (commercial brand mops containing their own liquid cleaner) contain toxins which are impacting on the poisoning of pets. When they walk on said cleaned floor and lick their paws they are getting ill and sometimes actually dying.

A friend gave me the heads up on this just as I was about to sucumb to a mop (starts with the letter sw and ends in er)commercial that looked pretty efficient.. Instead I stayed with the bio soap and water and a regular sponge thingy (sigh) well, what are you gonna do?

My pets have no control over toxic chemicals and I do.

I just use hot water and liquid soap (natural, environmental brand from Trader Joe's). Or just hot water.
