I brought my son's cat Sunny Fluffoot with me on this extended stay because my beloved cat was too mean to get through airport security. Sunny is a fluffy orangish cream and white tabby sort. Over the past few months, (since Christmas), he has become almost constantly vocal. One day he ran downstairs to where my mom and her caretaker spend their time and where i was also seated and said, "Mama!" My mom's caretaker asked me if I heard him. So for awhile when he runs to the door to greet me he yells "Mama!" then the other day he said very clearly, "Hello, Mama!" How do cats make an "H" sound. Since then he talks to me a lot but in cat talk. He is a member of the Scaredy Cat Clan.

I had a cat that could speak a few words. She would go to the door and say "Out."

Sunny now says "wet"! when he wants water from the sink! I think he is trying to say "wat-er" but can't do the "er"...I have been reading that this type of fluffy orange and cream cat has a tendency to try and mimic speech-that saves me from the nutty award! he is still big on the "mama" and "hello mama" too. maybe i can train him like folks do parrots-

There was a famous dog that could very clearly say "I love you."
