Imagine yourself under an ancient sky looking upward at a mist of light outlined in blackness. You have no knowledge of stars or galaxies. Science won’t exist for tens of thousands of years. No Bible has been written, no formal language exists, and spoken language is just finding its utterance among a few fellow tribes of homo sapiens. Looking up at that night sky with only the context given, what do you see?

You have no idea that the road which brought you here traveled through supernovas and now distant galaxies. Your mind cannot possibly conceive of the journey every particle of dust from those stars underwent to form the sun, moon and life all around you. It sees only points of light on a dark palette of deep, dark, blue.

As your mind struggles for a meaning your perspective guides you to an interpretation that gives relevance to your existence. Signs appear that hold prophecy for the future; spirits reach out to us from the afterlife; the sun and moon become a projection of good and evil as our primal fear of the night changes predator to demon and devil, while our hope for the future converts our sense of decency to faith in something more than ourselves.

The simple truth lost in a forgotten past reveals that gods were never as far away as those pinholes in the night sky. They resided in the mind of that first individual who dared to ask the deeper questions about what meaning the world around them might hold.

Suddenly, we see things as they are. The gods are us. They always have been.

They are projections of the best within us and the worst of what we fear to become. Somewhere along our journey to this truth we are now only beginning to discover we got lost in the creations of our minds made manifest as religions and dogmatic faith.

We allowed our fear of the unknown to mold our future and gave the primal fears of our infancy a permanent place to haunt humankind while withholding the fulfillment of that ancient journey with the pittance of grace for crimes that were never ours to repent from until we learned the power of hate and violence through the fervor of devotion to gods and the nations they chose to favor in battle.

Through blood and shame we have traveled to a time when we can sit down and look up again with new eyes. What we see now is the truth that has led us through eons of darkness to an age of enlightenment where we can finally comprehend the vastness of that night sky looking down at us as we look up. The lights you see are no longer pinholes, but a pathway to your true heritage.

The poetic beauty of this story is that when some of our long dead ancestors looked out and saw dead loved ones shining down from the heavens they almost had it right. The same cosmic forges that fueled our birth also birthed everything we see in the universe. This is a connection far more profound than any of them could have ever known and astoundingly more beautiful than stories of blood and fear passed off as divine inspiration.

A theory
Meta Soul is within, not outside of us, but within us, and our body, and life force, our soul within the body, reside within each our Auric field.
Anything outside our Auric field is NOT us.
Beware of anything outside of your Auric field.
Deeper still within the layers of our being,
is our Meta Soul, God experiencing existence by living through each of us;
but its immortal mind and wisdom is still accessible to us via our Meta Soul.
God is not a separate entity.
Creator is the Creation, is each of us.
1. Auric
2. Physical Body
3. Life force/soul/our identities throughout existence
4. Including our Meta Soul identity,
our God self, part of the total being of God.

A few revealing ANAGRAMS:

GOD WITHIN
=
HI GOD TWIN
____________
CREATOR
=
REACTOR

CREATION
=
REACTION

Hence one could deduce that
God is in us because we are
created by the creator who
became the reactor who became
the reaction that resulted in
the creator becoming the creation
which is us all.

If I believed this proposed scenario ever existed, I might very well accept the accompanying hypothesis. But I don't, so I can't.

It was a fun read though. Thank you.

Belief is not required, for such scenarios exist even today!

And I might say to Lexx, "God exists. Your belief is not required." But I wouldn't insult her intelligence or mine.

This is a fine example, and I'm glad you've shared it. It cuts right to my point, in fact. Here we have examples of modern man living in what is commonly assumed to be ancient circumstances, ostensibly offering us a glimpse into ancient man's thoughts and habits. The scientific community, able to perceive the physical body only, naturally assumes ancient man was no different than modern man. That's what I don't buy. Ancient man was intrinsically different than modern man imo. It's not the world alone that has evolved, we have evolved. Or devolved, as the case may be.

Lexx's posted scenario is currently in motion in those uncontacted societies...

That was my point. You said you simply didn't believe that her scenario existed

It also doesnt matter whether the tribes are 400 years old, or 400,000 years old.

The main points of the posted scenario, in the context of their world remain true! As long as they are left uncontacted

Can we know what it is they think of their place in the universe? Probably not conclusively... other than the fact it will have zero to do with Jesus, Muhammad or Richard Dawkins.

In answering this we'd enter the realm of spiritual realities. Not sure you're interested in the trip? In short, we could say that modern man has both gained and lost.
On a positive note, I like to think that in the grand scheme of things any movement is a positive transformation. Let's classify the devolvement as a strategic surrender.

Lexx referred specifically to an ancient sky. Those tribal socieites your wiki link explores do no live under a ancient sky. Though they do not live in a modern, industrialized world, they are modern men.

quote:

I'll clarify. I do not believe the suggested scenario existed in the ancient world.

quote:
It also doesnt matter whether the tribes are 400 years old, or 400,000 years old.

Here's where we disagree. Apples and oranges in my opinion. To further clarify: the difference is not attributable to cultural or social constructs. ie a modern day garden variety New Yorker thinks, feels, perceives differently than a modern day, garden variety Pakistani villager. Consider instead the marked difference between a child of 7 and a fully matured adult. Again, intrinsically different animal.

I like your sense of humor, Lei.

Formerly uncontacted tribes abound. During their colonization period, the (formerly uncontacted lol) Europeans excelled at uncovering "lost tribes." We may look to their documented research if you're curious. The African Dogon tribe is popular with ufo enthusiasts, yes? The Dogon were contacted in the early 20th century? They held intriguing thoughts on their place in the universe. The Dogon inherited an ancient understanding, which, had they been contacted earlier, might have been lost. I can't say all uncontacted tribes do though. Without direct access, we rely on faulty memory and blind interpretation - and that is the domain of modern man.

I don't mind strongly disagreeing with people - as long as things remain calm. I say to friendly discourse!

Most of us here at LL hold more than a few uncomman beliefs and theories - the sort of stuff the average mind would think foolishly superstitious, if not down right crazy. Lucky for us, we can speak openly here amongst our fellow "weirdos" So do please continue to share, Lexx. There's plenty of room for colorful theories and out of the ordinary ideas - yours, mine and a thousand others.

Wow amazing post!!
So true--- God can be considered as the kid in a library who only reads books and has read many books. He partakes the forms to experience through us what he learnt in the books.

Surely the cosmos will dissolve some distant future , when he/she becomes bored one day. Even the sun disappears into a black hole only to appear somewhere else.

Thank you for posting!😎
I have a somewhat similar take on that too.😎
It goes back to such things as are we gods?
Is God is?
Such ponderings have been around ever since even a note of concept of more than ourselves came into our human thoughts.🤯🧠
I shall return with more on this topic ASAP 😎

The sad truth also is that we humans are tremendously controlled by other Gods. You can visit GU and see how Trump is worshipped even though every one knows he is a big liar.

Relief is not coming anytime soon. People are still asleep to the fact even when it stands so glaringly at their face.

May be in few hundreds of years things will be allright.
