When you heal anyone,
you heal Jesus;
When you hurt anyone,
you hurt Jesus.

This is true.

Why is this true?

Is it because Jesus dwells secretly in every heart?

Yes, but there is a less esoteric reason as well,
and it is why this is true not just of Jesus,
but of all of us.

Its what we call "the trigger effect"...

When you help someone, you do a kindness, not just for them, but for everyone who loves them; their family and friends. In turn, by helping these people, you indirectly help another, wider circle of people; the families and friends of each of those original friends and family members. The ripples continue to widen, and their energy is never exhausted, only distributed. Likewise, when you help a person, your kindness extends in another direction, to influence even casual aquaintances and strangers with whom all of those afore-mentioned people interact.

These energies circle,
and continue to circle.
Like spiritual winds,
they traverse continents,
and even centuries,
affecting the spiritual climate.

No one knows the time thereof,
but the day will come when a person will be born;
A "Christed" person; Another Jesus;
A spiritual weatherman.

The sum of all the kind actions ever committed
will be weighed against
the sum of all the cruel actions ever committed,
and this will determine how "Jesus" is received.

What will the spiritual weather be like then?
Sunny, partly cloudy, stormy as hell?

How often will he be struck down?
How often embraced, given food, or shelter?
Will he be recognized as the Messiah?
Or will he be condemned to die a traitor's death;
this person who is a traitor to all sides,
and loyal only to Love?

How many times will such a one be born
into a world that rejects him or her?
How many times has it happened before?
How many "Christs" have there been?

I don't know.
But I know this:

Every kind action brings the day closer,
when an enlightened being can walk the earth,
speak the truth, and not be met with violence.
Every step you take now,
is one less step that Christ must take.
Every insult you endure,
is one less insult Christ must endure.
This is all his work.
And when you are kind,
as Christ is kind,
you do his work.

If Jesus were before you now,
too exhausted to carry the cross,
would you help him go that last quarter mile?

Well, he is before you now.

And he is so exhausted
(he cant even incarnate)!

[Granted, this is a fairly obvious observation, but, I think,
one which is beautiful and rare enough to warrant more frequent expression.]

[[I'm sorry my powers of expression are not at their best.
I've been really depressed and my thinking isnt what it used to be,
but I figure it is better to say something,
than nothing, even if its not my best.]]

Forget your perfect offering.
There is a crack, a crack in everything.
That's how the light gets in."

Very cool.

I see reality like a giant spider web of energy, all is intimately connected....your observation seems true to me, and goes for harsh actions, speech, etc...when you try to pull back from this web, to withdraw from the world's influence the soul begins to wither and starve....it needs energy

Thanks, BR.

I was very close to deleting it,
but then I read what 26T and another friend wrote.

My other friend quoted the part where I said,
"How many times will such a one be born
into a world that rejects him or her?"

She said, "Everyone, every day. "

She was so right.

Your response interests me.

the second part:

quote:
when you try to pull back from this web, to withdraw from the world's influence the soul begins to wither and starve....it needs energy

Maybe I am guilty of this.
Maybe all us hermits are.
I know I am.

True, HSC. Jesus is before us now. All that you said is true. What we do for others we do for Jesus because he lives in all humanity.

He is that homeless person. He is the rejected and the hurting and the lonely.

It DOES create a ripple effect. Everything we say and do creates a ripple effect.

We are all here to help each other carry our crosses in life and when we do that we are helping Jesus carry the cross too.

I have to tell you this, HSC. I had a dream about you a few days ago and you have been popping in and out of mind since then. I don't know why. Weird. I know. I still trying to figure out the why of it.

I know this probably won't help but I am going to reach out and give you a cyber {{{{Hug}}}} and tell you that I hope that depression lifts very soon.

You are an amazing person, Stephen. You have so much going for you that if you did find yourself a good guide, a good Shaman, I just know you would reach the heights of spirituality. I just feel that very strongly.

it's clear to me
he is in touch with
His Good Guide.

Wise friend, HSC.

I believe in God and "Jesus" too....just not in the same ways most do.
Jesus/Yeshua was a great teacher who remembered
the true God and beginnings.
God has no name, all the references to God I have seen put out by others is to me not God's story, but fantasy or even error, as in the Lord of the Eden Zoo who is the false god/demiurge/the father of lies who hisses for the fly and loves the odor of burnt flesh and appears in dark smoke etcetera.
God the true God, came long before the named by humans, so called gods.

I liked how HSC referred to Jesus as Christ sometimes. The west knows Jesus as representation of Christ consciousness. An eastern would call it Shiva consciousness.

The mother energy is called Parvati by the east or Isis by egyptologist.
The father energy is Shiva to the east or Osiris to egyptologist.

Same energy known by different names in different cultures. Some of them actually walked on earth and were immortalized as deities. I love reading mythology. With out it its hard to conceptualize.

The myth persons such as apollo etc actually live in your head as form of energy. It gives you peace but does not last forever. Will list some information on all possible energy centers withing the sacred human body. Perhaps it will make more sense then.

26Taurus,

quote:

Thats an empowering way to look at it.
Thanks.

And yes, she is wise.
Thank you, on her behalf.

Mannu,

This is how I see it, too.

My worldview is fairly well synchronized with Carl Jung's theory of "synchronicity". As I understand it, it is a very old, occult principle, only restated in modern terms by Jung. Basically, everything "out there" is also "in here". The archetype of Christ/Shiva is not only alive and well in our souls/unconscious minds, it is central to the process of spiritual evolution. I believe there is a law whereby we increasingly resemble that which we give our attention to. Whether you call it Christ or Shiva, man or god, prophet or messiah, there is a basic, fundamental, signature energy belonging to this archetype. By attention to it, it is possible to harmonize with that frequency. But it means attending more to the mythical and spiritual "Christ", than the historical and material "Jesus". I can understand the mentality that wishes to distinguish between Jesus, and the Christ Consciousness, which took possession of him (whether in actual history, or "only" in our mythology). But I think the very act of identifying Jesus, or any person who attained enlightenment, with that consciousness is helpful, in that it mirrors our own deeper truth; namely, that we are not these mortal personalities, but, in the true light of spirit, we are all Christed. Of course, at some point, it is advisable to contemplate Jesus/Christ as pure symbol, and to remember that, behind the man, and, yes, even behind the god, there is something undefinable which is a yet truer expression of Deity. I believe this corresponds to Jesus words about how it is not about himself, but all about the Father "through him". Also the story of the crucifixion and resurrection... It has many meanings, because it symbolizes a fundamental aspect of reality, which we see repeated in large and small ways every moment, but, in one sense, it relates to the passing away of the symbol, in order to make room for a deeper, inner realization of the Spirit. Anyway, if I were born in the East, I'm sure I would speak of Shiva, not Jesus, but I would be saying the very same things (to those with ears to hear). I am just more familiar/comfortable with the Western archetype.

Love to all,
hsc

HSC

You know the dream that I mentioned here?

I just discovered today that was more than just a dream. It was a premonition.

Maybe I will explain that to you someday.

Liked your thoughts here. I don't agree with all of them but yes, I call him Christ too.

Of course I did not mean what I said in the way that I think 26 taurus took it. I meant that I think you have a calling and maybe someone could guide you in helping you to determine that or not. The spirituality and WHO is guiding you inwardly I can easily see.

HSC, youre welcome!

Mirandee, Although I was not certain how you meant your comment to HSC, it was in fact, what triggered my comment. Really I just felt it would be a nice thing to point out to him.

Isnt it beautiful to watch him grow?

Thanks, guys.

Mirandee,

I took what you said in an innocent spirit,
and I believe your intention was pure,
or fairly pure; which is all we can ask,
of ourselves and of one another.

I think T is right, that I am in touch with some form of "guide", and it was clever of her to think of that, and, I think, indicative of her good heart that she would pick up on that at all. But, you are perhaps equally right, perhaps more right, that an outer guide, a physical guide, a mentor who I can be on the same wave-length with, who would be able to really reach me, would be a great help to me. And, let's face it, I can use all the help I can get.

Although, I suppose, a very compelling argument could be made that, if I have not been reached by my inner guides, there is no reason to suppose that an outer guide could reach me. Still, I think it makes more sense that the Lord works in mysterious ways, and, if one way does not work, God will always find another. That, although there is no essential difference between the inner and the outer life, there is yet an apparent difference to us, because we see things from a relative perspective, and that God takes this subjectivity of ours into account, when determining the best ways to get through to us. "He" appears in the form we are partial to and best suited to perceive. If "He" appears in other forms, it is often another way to provoke growth.

But I need to stop spiralling about "God".
I forget that almost nobody knows what I mean,
and I admit my language is ambiguous to anyone but myself.
And even to myself, there are mysteries upon mysteries.

[end of rant]
