knowflakes,

would anyone kindly post the number equivalent of each letter of the alphabet please? i have a Star Sign book but i left it back home in my country. now i want to think up possible names for a company and thought it would be wise to ensure it will have a good vibration. thank you very much in advance.

17 = his compound number, right?

right on, you got it. leave 11 alone unless its last compound. if you had add it, you wouldn't have gotten a compound, but only a single...so you did it perfect.
