I'm a bit rusty with Numerology and haven't practiced for years. My husband and I are finally able to have my son's name changed from his birth name (due to step-parent adoption) to a new last name and we've been talking about changing his middle names, too. You see, my mother shoved the paperwork at me as I was coming out of anesthesia and I had planned on giving him a different name than his birth father's. Unfortunately, she steamrolled me semi-conscious and he wound up a second. Ugh.

So anyway, my son wants to have his step-dad's middle and last name and just keep his first name. I don't think the numbers work very well with his birth number and he has lots of 8's running around in there. Compound that with me being a 15/6 birth name, 13/4 married name I want to change his name to something that is harmonious.

The other thing is that I've never been able to determine if his original birth name should include the 'II' at the end when figuring or not. My husband is a 'III' which means I haven't figured his name up either. I've ran into different schools of thought for that one.

Here is what I have so far:

Joshua Donald Paul Meek II = 29/2 or 27/9 depending on your view
Birth number = 17/8 *born on 8/17/01 @ 17:01 or 5:01pm (that 15/6) and brought to me for the first time exactly at 5:01am if that's not weird for you*

Possible new names:

Joshua Lee Yoder = 10/1 (He sees everything in black and white already so I'm not sure if this would be very good at all)

Joshua Donald Yoder = 12/3 (He makes enough excuses without needing a martyr complex, too)

I've even considered making up an entirely new middle name, but I don't know what vibration I'm really aiming for that would harmonize with his birth number and all those 8's!

Any help given would be a blessing to me before we make the permanent name change.

My experience has shown that the 'II' & 'III' at the end of a name does modify the letters.

On the first set of names, my calculations gives a 2.

The Numerology from the birthdate ( 8 & 1) is very strong & masculine & competitive. My suggestion would be a soft/feminine name number, like a 2, so he doesn't come off too overwhelming.

The Yoder name has a 1 vibration. One is the number of fame, authority, leadership. It's also the number of the individualist, & the hermit.

I believe the rule is you don't want too many of the same numbers in a name & birthdate, because that tends to lean towards the negative side of things.

What's been his quality of life up to this point in life??

Thanks so much for replying! And hello.

I've looked through just about every English and Biblical name, trying them all with the rest. They were either 13/4, 12/3, 28, or 42 for 98% of them. Three made a 15/6. But when I added two middle names (husband's & my dad's first names) I hit on a 23/5. It's a good number and I like the lion imagery. He is a Leo with a Cap rising. Both are very him.

BTW, you wanted background on him. Well, he's had a lot of bad things in his life to overcome. Forced separation from me when he was 3 for 4 months really cracked our relationship. Not only that but he has rotten luck and feels everything as a personal slight. Looking at him, I can see that heavy 8 energy from his birth number. Cap rising compounds and represses his bursts of sunny lion energy.

He's so smart and so talented, but he has no self-discipline and no self-control. He needs a break.
