I would like to hear other 8's experience with Karma... How being an 8 has affected you..

First since Saturn is 8.. What is Saturn doing in your natal chart?

My Saturn at 18Gem in H3 but also conjuncts IC..

Do you think the 8 shows in your chart? Mine definitely does..

Saturn Conjunct IC
Saturn opps MC
Saturn Sq ASC/DSC
Saturn sextile, Sun,Moon,Merc...
Saturn sextile Chiron
Saturn trine Uranus

First I grew up with no father, no siblings, just myself and my mom..
I grew up poor and basically alone.. I was afraid to be around people I didnt know..
I spent most of my child hood alone in my room.. My mom moved away from all family members.. I never had cousins to play with. I didnt get much social skills growing up.

I was always known as the "shy child" in school. Barely speaking to anyone..
(even though I have ALL that LEO)

My mom threw me just ONE birthday party.. only since I was so shy, I didnt have any friends, no- one showed up to my birthday party..
I insisted on never having another party again... I still havent.... I just go some where..

When I was in school, there was always false rumors going on about me... From me peeing in bed to being a lesbian. IDK where these came from...

The Christmas tree caught on fire one year, and I was blamed... I lite a candle and blew it out immediately.. (I was at a babysitters house, she was asleep) Her daughter lite the candle a second time, and went walking around with it, and got to close to the x-mas tree.. Those things go up so fast, the entire wall was on fire with in a blink of the eye..

I was a latch key kid.. I came home alone, and did everything alone.. My mom would leave in the middle of the night to go party.

There's alot more things I could mention, but thats just a few to start...

This was SOME of the things I went through before the age of 9...

Halo Lioness~

You certainly are not Alone in your Path hear.
Being an 8 person does make Life a bit more interesting indeed.
The daily trials and tribulations of Us who bear the Brand
often cause us to "hope for the best but expect the worst."
One must develop that keen dry sense of Humor Linda talks about
or else suffer the misery of "what else can go wrong?" or worse...
the lonliness that often is instilled by Saturn's gaze.

I respect and commend your openness and honesty of your suffering.
It is that quality that makes Saturn the dichotomy that it is.
The shield One must forge to protect that soft sweet Child inside
takes many layers of abuse and countless times of infliction
to make strong.
Fortunately, in no sense was our guardian Angel
and naivety a blessing in disguise
for we didn't know it was supposed
to Be any other Way!

"What doesn't kill You makes you stronger" is our motto.

As that has been a theme in my Life
with all the hospital visits I have made for one reason or another.

Having had physical, emotional and verbal abuse
a few NDE's and counting...
I often wonder how the hell I made it here today!

The most recent being breaking my C2 vertebrae in '09
and living to think and tell about it...
I consider being an 8, an honor and blessing now
as my callous vessel I inhabit is worn but tough as nails.

With all the trauma a body can go through,
it is often the unseen damage the emotional state of being Human
can weigh on the Human Heart and truly test the vigor of 8 people.

I raise my glass to you and those others who share our Path.

That was just LOVELY!!! I loved that!

You are so correct I always felt "what else is going to happen" sheeshhhh!!!

Its one thing after another..

Do your think your karma is with your health? Mine is with relationships..

I accepted my 8 even went and got a tattoo of an 8 on my wrist.. Its always in front of me to remind me.. Its just a lesson, accept it and learn it wont be so bad..

Things are still bad.. but IDK I dont feel as bad...
I WILL clear my karma

Some would think it a privilege for the opportunity to clear out some accelerated Karma. It's a great way to view it.

I am not an 8 person but my parents are 8. My mom was giving all her life. A loving and caring person throughout. But she didn't get that back. Ofcourse she was looked after and taken care of but not in the way she should have been. Plus a Capi ascendent and Taurus Sun. Hard life. My pop another Capi asc and 8. And a Leo. Phewwww! He pulled the shots always. Everywhere, at home and outside too but nevertheless had to live within the saturn trajectory. Again a hard and struggling life. Both had tough childhoods. Both had tough adult lives. Both were like a shelter (support) for so many persons in our immediate and extended family and also to n no of ppl in society. They didn't receive as much, specially my mom. But ppl loved and admired her. Same with him. They had very high expectations from us (their kids) but unfortunately for them we couldnt fulfill them as much (this is relative). Another disappointment for them - somewhat. Nevertheless they performed their duties very well. Very practical and down to earth.

Halo Lioness

Karma is one of those "Words/Concepts"
I have trouble with.
Much along the lines of Beliefs and Religion.
I find the concept of Karma a perplexing One.
Often it's tenets get me Wondering beyond
what "It is what It is"....
A Place I work diligently to maintain a perspective.

Without the Knowledge and Use of
the Esoteric Sciences we discuss hear,
My Life would certainly be different
in my standingUnder of "why things happen to me".
A plight All of Us must endure
whilst remaining here in this Dimension, I believe.
Having studied these Sciences with some depth
I am left with more Questions than answers.

However, my Path is laden
with trifle and trite obstacles
that are often hard to work through....
tripping over each stone on my Path,
stepping around each Tree to get into the Forest.
Every two steps I take, I take one backwards.
My Mind and Spirit is already there!
It is my body and Self
that suffer the daily strife of actually
"getting" there....
so frustration would be the best overall definition
my "Karma" fashions for me.
Every aspect of Life has it's lessons.
But the main Thread throughout all the Web
my Path has designed remains in tune with
Saturn's Great Gifts of Time and Wisdom...

Life is hard.
Hope for the Best, but expect the worst.
Do It while you still know everything, kid.
Nothing begets nothing.
Take what you need and leave the rest.
What you give is what you get.
A spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down.
Time heals All things.
Work. Play. Rest..... In that order.

Life is Hills and Valleys.
Hills and Valleys.
Hills.
and Valleys.

Keep smiling...and laugh alot.
People will Wonder what your up to.
Can't cry in your beer all the Time.

Another 8 here.
Saturn in house 4.
Im stuck in a rut...seems like there is a dead end at every corner.Lost in a maze which has no end or beginning...going around in circles in my life.Whatever I do or dont do I am made to take the blame for it...May be honesty is not the best policy for me but neither are lies.Probably Ignorance is Bliss.
No father,No siblings,No relatives basically no support system or a close human bonding with anybody.
No plans of getting married either.
Feel like running away from myself and the situations around me but cannot. It is like Im being tied down by some unknown external force.Have always felt unloved at home. The only outlet being Spiritual bonding with the higher self which gets me going everyday...without which I would'nt have survived the emotional depths. But you know Im prepared for this roller coaster ride...yet again, again and again.
Nobody can crush my spirit.
Ahhh time will tell?....I suppose it should.
I have Saturn-Midheaven aspects
Saturn-ascendant aspects
Saturn-pluto and Saturn-mercury aspects

Saturn always gives me the impression of a P.T. teacher. I am a Saturnian too to some extent. I hope we will come out healthier stronger and wiser in our lives after the Saturnian training.

Halo Rajji ~

What a pleasant surprise
to find our You are an 8 person as well.
We have not conversed
but I have enjoyed your posts and information
greatly on the boards and find it very use full.
Something we 8 people are quite discerning about....
Use Fullness.

Again, it takes Bravado!
to share One's personal Self hear...
as I am sure You know,
8's and Cappy's keep their cards
"close to their chest."
The idea or issue of "weakness" nauseates us
to a fault, which may in turn,
contribute to the strife we welcome
into our Lives.

Often, the Path of the 8 person is riddled
with hardship, needless worry and lonesomeness.
I wonder if I ever got to the Pearly Gates
and there were two doors....
Door #1= Heaven.
Door #2= Seminar to get to Heaven....
I would take Door # 2.
Completely disTrusting the simpleness and ease
of things going that smoothly.

It is a Chicken and the Egg Syndrome I think.
Or more like the Serpent eating It's own Tale.

Loneliness and Intimacy are certainly
two issues 8 People find repetitive and Relevant.
It's not that we want to Be Alone...
but often find loneliness
a state of Being
rather than a "feeling".
Often we are a Lone
in a crowded room of People.
The more people I know in the room
the lonelier I feel...
But give me a bus full of Strangers
and I am amongst friends!

It reminds me of a famous 8 person,
World admonished.
Worshipped to this day...
Long after his death,
by Strangers who never knew him.
Loved. Adored. Revered. Followed. Impersonated.
But Alone in the End....which may in fact
have killed him...
Elvis Aaron Presley,
born a Cappy twin on an 8 day
sang "Are You Lonesome Tonight"....all too well.

http://youtu.be/kAR_pdLCThINow

Saturn governs Time.
Time is Infinite and Relative.
It is no Wonder those under It's Spell
Know It's immediate effects and consequences.
In Time,
every One comes to Know
how fleeting Life Is
and how quickly It passes...
"We are hear but for a Moment."

But also how relative It is in our daily Life.

So I say....
Let's in Joy the Lessons...
The Joys and the sorrows,
the Triumphants and the defeats.
The warm Summer Daze and the cold Winter nights.

All of It.... is a Gift.
And I believe, 8 People Know and accept that.

Keep on keepin' on.

With a Smile.

Peace to You Rajji.

Elvis' middle name was spelled with one "A" on his tombstone.

Ahhh.. I feel like you guys understand

Thats so nice...

@Randall, Im not broke broke, I live pretty modest.. I dont need the designer names..
But I still struggle money wise..

I prefer the sense of security, to live cheaply verses living the high life.. For "just in case"

And lioness it feels nice to know that we are all not miserable but happy playing this game of '8' that Saturn our mentor has kept us in charge of.
