I have a theory on this. I don't know if anybody else has figured it out yet. I'm keeping the answer to myself for the time being. If you are a reputable astrologer get in touch.

I believe Taurus vibrates to 6 and Virgo vibrates to 5.

Although once Taurus goes with Pan-Horus and Virgo goes with Vulcan then the numbers might change.

scorpio used to vibrate to 9 when mars was its ruler;after pluto was discovered its number became 0.
there are no more single digits left for taurus and virgo to take over once pan-horus and vulcan are discovered

4-uranus
5-mercury
6-venus
7-neptune
8-saturn
9-mars
0-pluto
i don't particularly want to share 5 and 6 with gemini and libra

I am Virgo born on 14 so my total is 5
My son is Taurus and born on 15 so total is 6. We both feels like we are soulmates and vibrates good with each other too. Being 6, he always considers himself as one lucky fellow. Being 5, I always consider that I am a good communicator.
I think, 5 go well with number 9 too. But I don't like number 2 much.

From what I can gather from Linda's star notes, 5 still remains the number of Vulcan but the number of Horus is 0. The number 15 is thus the result of 0 (Horus) + 5 (Vulcan) + 10 (1sis and 0siris). Love (15=1+5=6) is thus triumphant over all in the end ... which relates to the "discovery" of Apollo, once and for all.

Whew. Ok. So, ANUBIS, I'm also very curious as to your theory, so please feel free to share.

Taurus is 4 or 5. (April of March)
How do you get a 6? Can you post a link i can follow for further info on this? I was under the impression my number was 8; a sign of Infinity.

Traditional number rulers are thus:

1 - Sun
2 - Moon
3 - Jupiter
4 - Uranus
5 - Mercury
6 - Venus
7 - Neptune
8 - Saturn
9 - Mars

However, according to a book by Norman Shine there is an alternative setup.

1 - Sun
2 - Moon
3 - Mars
4 - Mercury
5 - Jupiter
6 - Venus, Uranus
7 - Saturn
8 - Pluto
9 - Neptune

The original layout is a good starter, but I like this one better. The only things I have issues with is Saturn as ruler of spiritual #7, and individualist Uranus with shared rulership of relationship oriented #6

I can't ascribe to that chart. I have to stick with the traditional one. Saturn is definitely an 8. And Mars is definitely a 9. If you add Mars (war) 9 plus Venus (Love) 6 you get 15/6 meaning that Love will always win out over war.
