My life turned markedly for the worse after I married and took my husband's last name, so I have decided to change my name (emotionally/relationship-wise, but financially/career it's been better). I ran a lot of online reports but they only provide analysis of a name and no suggestions about what would be a possible balancing name. That's why I'm turning to you, dear Knowflakes:I was born on August 4, life path number 33/6 My current name number values (Chaldean) are: -----First name - 41515331 = 23/5 -----Middle name - 414142761 = 30/3 -----Last name (married) - 3266533 = 28/1 -----First & last combined = 51/6 (the enemies vibe has been very strong since I took on that name) So I have been contemplating several possible changes but can't decide what would be the best one: -----Adding an "e" to the end of the last name would make it 33/6 and giving me 11 for the first + last combo. -----The above + trimming the last 4 letters of my first name (which is how most people know me anyway) would result in first name 11 and last name 33/6 for a total of 17/8. I am also getting rid of the middle name (it's actually my father's name, very negative figure in my life), either completely or by reducing it to the initial letter only. Using middle initial with the above two options (I know Chaldean usually ignores it) gives 15 and 21 respectively for the combined name. I toyed with leaving the last name as it is to keep hubby happy but it does not result in anything good (12 or 16). I suggested to him that we both add an "e" but he does not like that (surprise!), although he would live with me changing mine. For the record, his first name is 26/8 but he goes by the 1st 3 letters (=9), born on the 5th, life path 30/3. I would love some input on the above, or even suggestions for different changes (or no changes) if you think I'm not on the right path. IP: Logged |

Welcome! In Chaldean, you only use first and last. What does your married last name come to? And what is your day of birth? ------------------ "Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia." Charles Schultz IP: Logged |

Then 28 is your main number with the most influence. ------------------ "Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia." Charles Schultz IP: Logged |

Thanks, Randall! That explains why things went so negative for me, looking at the description of 28, "The Trusting Lamb". So, considering my DOB of 4/8/83 (=33/6), which would be the best choice for name change out of these:- First name 23/5, last name 28/1, total 51/6 (no change) - FN 23/5, LN 33/6, total 11 - FN 11, LN 33/6, total 17/8 IP: Logged |

I actually got a reading from a numerologist last week, who to my surprise suggested keeping my first name and instead changing my last name to a 23 as well, which gives 46 (same as 37) for the total. However, this would sound very different from my current last name (the change is with the main vowel of the name) & my husband (who shares last name) is obviously against. So now I'm really confused because part of the reason why I wanted to change my first name was that no one pronounces it correctly and keeping it was not really on the agenda.Anyway, according to that numerologist, the only good totals for a name (first + last) are 19, 27, 36, 37, as well as higher numbers that have the same meaning as these four, regardless of what your DOB-related numbers are. Which makes me suspicious, because everything else in my reading is 3's and 6's. 1's and 5's are considered challenge numbers for the 3/6/9 group and yet, the numerologist is recommending that I change my name to a 23/5+23/5=46/1 vibration... He was both and gave me a very lengthy reading for both systems, but the name analysis was Chaldean. To be honest, the rest of his reading is quite accurate but I just don't get it why he only considered the above to be good name numbers, especially for a 6-infested person IP: Logged |

I decided to wait until I'm sure I've found the right name. By the way, is it bad if you have too much "6" energy in your reading?IP: Logged |

So, I think I finally figured out my name change (unless I miscalculated). The plan is to add my maiden name to my married name with a hyphen and this would result in a full name adding up to 6. Could someone more experienced confirm that I am doing the calculation correctly:- First name is 23/5 - no change - New last name would be: 276135561-3266533(each number corresponds to the value of one letter), which adds up to 64/1 if you just sum up all the letters (is this what you do with a hyphenated name?) - Full name: I'm not sure if it counts as 23+64=87/15 or 23+1=24 or 5+1=6? My DOB is 4/8/83, so if the correct total is 15, it might not be a good idea after all... What do you think? Thanks for all your help and I'll keep you posted on the final decision IP: Logged |

Hello Leila, i've only been into this for a while, but it's okay i've read at least a dozen things a day about it ever since.you have 4 and 8 in your birth in an obvious way, so 15 may not be so great, as the vibes may start causing you to think about things you haven't before, like using negative energies to get what you want. I no longer know how to read dates when it is only numbers but am presuming your Birthday is in April, not August, in which case you are in Aries, a sign ruled by the planet Mars. The lucky number of Mars is 9, hence why that numerologist recommended it. Is it possible that your name be written in a way that adds up to 27? It is okay if it is now going to be pronounced in a different way, as you need a different sound vibration. A 27 is a great number of Mars and a number of Karmic reward, and will be able to negate any heavy karma from the 4 and 8 energies of your birthday. That your birthday adds up to a 6 is also great so you don't have to worry to much. Also remember the 4 and 8 are a reminder the more good you do for others, the more goodluck you bring yourself, and this combined with a name 27 you'd be set for life. okay this is it for now, am sure others will have a better explanation than mine, or correct anything wrong i stated good luck with the name change...remember to also start it at a day that adds up to a positive number for you : D IP: Logged |

Hi jellyfishtry! Very deep analysis - I would have never though of that. However, I must have been very tired when I posted last night because I obviously reverted to the European date format even though I have been in the US for years now. It's August 4, not April 8, my apologies for the confusion... Anyway, you comments made me think about the astrological aspect of name change and I'm actually not sure if I have a lucky planet because in my horoscope every single planet has squares & oppositions and/or is otherwise toned down by sign/position, except for Neptune, which is retrograde & Sun is in an exact square with ASC. Would the Sun still be considered my "lucky" planet, even though it doesn't shine through as much from the bottom of my chart?IP: Logged |

i honestly don't know much about astrology but for numbers all i know is 19 is one of the lucky numbers of the sun. also such your day is 4, don't worry too much about the 28. When i calculated Beyonce's name (i was bored) it came up to a 28, but such she is a 4 (born on 4th of September) it ended up being to her advantage. though on the other hand with you 8+4=12=3 while for her it was 9+4=13=4 again. Just purely from a 'numbers' prespective i'd go for a 19.... for astrology i guess if you ask the much more knowledgable people on the Astrology forum, they'd be able to tell you what your best planet it... okay i'll stop rambling on now lol.
