How do I calculate the name number of a website or a domain name? For example - yahoo.com. Should I consider only 'yahoo' or the whole domain name 'yahoo.com'?

Thanks.

But I would also do Yahoo, since people will call it by its name without the Dot Com also.

Thanks a lot Randall. I went through a lot of pains to get a 24 or 33 for a website, and finally found the name vebkrafts (33). I even took care to register the name on 24th Dec.

Now vebkrafts.com turns out to be a 17, which I suppose is fortunate too, except that it reduces to 8.

Any comments on this will be highly appreciated.

A 17 is most fortunate. It means it will live on. And the 8 isn't bad. It means it could make money.

Hi Randall,

The start seems to be good. Bagged about 8 orders even before I could register the company, which is still pending! Looks promising. I will keep updating my progress.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Thanks jellyfishtry. Technically speaking, a 'DOMAIN' consists of name & extension, excluding 'http', 'www', etc. Also, my domain is accessible with or without 'wwww' - http://vebkarfts.com & http://www.vebkarfts.com are both valid and accessible.

BTW, to report my progress, my hands are full at the moment. I have received & completed out station jobs locally, and also have a couple of confirmed orders from UAE.

Thanks to all of you, especially Randall.
