Ayelet Knowflake Posts: 129 From: Registered: Sep 2010	posted March 26, 2014 09:17 PM I have a numerology book which Linda Goodman recommands in "Love Signs": "The Kabala of Numbers" by Sepharial. The strange thing is that the writer attributes different planets to the numbers than those Linda (and I guess Cheiro as well, i don't have his book yet) attributes. the sun is 1 and the moon is 2, that's fine, but then 3 is mars, 4 is mercury, 5 is jupiter and so on. I wonder what Sepharial's sources are, and why did Linda recommanded that book. By the way, the name "Sepharial" adds to 29, so i guess he didn't read Star Signs . The book seems interesting, but if it is wrong at the very basics, how can one rely on it? And I wonder how Linda got her sources (the same goes with Cheiro). IP: Logged

Many, many people were brought into the fold through exposure to this writer. You have to take history into account. I personally have not read any, but I have seen it referred to many, many times by authors I admire. I started with the Linda book, and searched things out for myself, and found the thing that worked for me. We all have to do that. I like to have a firm background in my mind to which I can refer for clarity, if the system works to my mind, it has to have a basis that makes sense. Truly, I have found that. Keep searching until you find the one that works for you. (Like me, once I read this post, I had to search through EVERY stinkin' book I owned, cause I just KNEW that I had one from Sepharial in those massive stacks. Behind stacks. With stacks in my bedroom as well. Sorry to say, it never popped up. Oh well, I'm sure it will, just as soon as I'm not looking anymore. Sheesh.) IP: Logged

Ellyn, the book by Sepharial looks interesting, but they cannot be both right, that means, Sepharial and Linda.Either 4 is ruled by Mercury or it is ruled by Uranus. And it is true that the past should be revered too, as it gives way for the future. I wonder what works for you. And Randall, where does Linda shift her mind about abortion in Star Signs? IP: Logged

I first learned about Numerology from this book. I have since gone to other Realms of Thought. I still use this from time to time. Had to laugh when I read the Hermit one for my username. There is a method in Sepharial by which to answer questions. A friend asked me whether he shall recover from his illness. The result was 8, which, according to Sepharial, means delays or disaoppointment. But anyone asking the same question in the same way would have received the same result! Anyhow, I told him God and Grace are beyond the numbers, and, of course, that it doesn't make sense that anyone asking the same question won't be healed, or that it would take a long time. What about free will? Perhaps the question shouldn't have been asked. A person is his \ her own master. What do you think? IP: Logged
