Just saying hi. I came across this forum several months ago when I was looking for information on the implications of a certain square in my natal chart and have been hooked ever since. It is definitely the most comprehensive and knowledgeable community of astrologers on the web--and the most friendly. I have only recently gathered up the nerve to apply for an account and begin posting.

Ummm, after reading through this forum I decided that I should actually stop being a hermit and post some more info about myself.

So here are 20 Random Facts about Starr:

1. I love pink! I'm a girly girl.
2. I play online video games in my spare time and I'm a football (American) fanatic...so I'm also a tomboy.
3. I have a dog named Bingo.
4. I'm an aspiring writer in the other half of my spare time.
5. I really like spinach.
6. I'm either super outgoing or very shy, no inbetween.
7. I just discovered the British band "Muse" a few weeks ago and I love them.
8. Lest you be fooled by the Muse mention, I also love hip-hop and R&B, and Enya and Clannad.
9. I love candles & incense.
10. My kid is my favorite person in the world.
11. I'm addicted to Mafia Wars on Facebook.
12. I asked for a telescope for Christmas last year so I could star gaze (and got it).
13. I love cold weather but only when it's snowing.
14. My favorite animals are wolves, dolphins, and horses. Actually, I love all animals--believe it or not, I have a fondness for snakes.
15. That being said, I am terrified of most insects.
16. The exception is praying manti, those are cool, as are ants & bees when they're not in proximity.
17. I love ice cream and apple pie, together or separate.
18. I used to smoke but quit a few months ago.
19. I voted for Obama.
20. Being in a place with stained-glass windows makes me feel instantly at peace.
