Hello everybody! Like I mentioned in the subject, I have been a long-time lurker, and I'm just incredibly impressed with the knowledge and skill of so many members here. My skills are amateur at best (self-taught) so if anyone wants a padawan, raise your hand because I am up for the task! I'll share a little about my goals, so if you guys have any favorite threads or readings that are relevant, I'd love it if you share. I don't posses any astrology software (too expensive for a starving student), so I tend to use astro . com almost exclusively. My goals are to learn the more mathematical, predictive aspects of astrology, and to become more mindful of the way minor aspects manifest. I also have trouble using asteroids to derive all those nitty gritty details. I have uploaded my natal chart here: http://imgur.com/a/Q6zU0 Let me know if we have anything in common! I'm especially interested in anyone who shares a N.Node+Moon conjunction, a S. Node+Venus conjunction, 2nd-8th house and/or Leo-Aqu. intercepted, or maybe that weird yod-looking thing I've got going on. My personal astrology interests include karmic and soul mate astrology, twin flames, kundalini and other energy work, psychic and other personal development, medical astrology and astro physiognomy. Within the last few years I've been dealing with the development of chronic migraines, psoriasis, and the breakup of a serious relationship that's still causing me stress! Now I'm just looking for meaning and cure. .. My non-astrology interests include outdoorsy activity (backpacking, climbing, running, biking, everything!), videogames, plants and animals (I'm a member of the Audubon Society, and I loooove carnivorous plants), gardening, reading, languages (spoken, computer, and music! But I'm really bad at music...)... Anyways, I'm very excited to be here! Nice to meet everyone! IP: Logged |

Welcome to Lindaland. I have one or two yods in my chart and a stellium in the 5th intercepted. I prefer to read as well. IP: Logged |

Two yods!? Are they oriented in the same general direction, or are they pointing in two different directions?? Have you been able to harness them at all? I have no idea if mine even counts because I feel like there should only be one planet at the apex, but the energies blend in a conjunction, so I have no idea how I should even interpret mine. I remember an ex and I had our yods pointing in opposite directions... It was not a comfortable relationship. IP: Logged |

#1 JupiterRx sextile Moon Apex Sun-Pluto-Mars #2 Sun-Pluto-Mars sextile Neptune-NN Apex Moon. Release point is Mercury in Scorpio. #2 is known as Boomerang as well.Depending on the astrologer you can count 4 yod, 3 yods and one Boomerang, ...... I have learned about it myself and found a way to understand it. That does not mean that I understand my life . Your chart is considered as a yod in here . Edit: and I saw a Mystic rectangle.
