of course the worst news today is that Israel have sent ground troops into Palestine but i'm not sure how you all view this, seeing as most of you are in the USA, and the US sees Israel as it's 51st state Pray for peace IP: Logged |

I don't know that such a sweeping generalization holds much accuracy.....IP: Logged |

Hey Zala, well the US is behind Israel and AIPAC is all about America and Israel so l presume that the US newsfeed is pro-israel in it's broadcasting? Is that incorrect? IP: Logged |

I certainly can't speak for our government -- except to say that they do support Israel's presence in this world.I was talking individuals -- apparently you're talking collective. IP: Logged |

Americans can't demonstrate jack, Israel and AIPAC rules this country from top to bottom, plus they are brought up to "Swallow" everything done by the "Zionist State" look at the millions of dollars being stolen and funneled to Israel, there is a systematic conditioning process in place for the masses Thanks for bringing this up Lara it's nice to see that people around the world are concerned for the Palestinians and their situation, the backlash against Israel is a big one this time. And lol @ "dead to Hamas" that must be a new immigrant from the "Chosen people" haha. IP: Logged |

yes the broadcasting is more pro-Israel. For the longest time I thought the problem was Palestine because of the media. After seeing the movie "Munich" and doing a little research I realized this is a egg and chicken story. I honestly can not see an end to this war between these two peoples unless it results in the complete annihilation of either group. Or by some magical power an agreement is reached by outside forces (ie. the UN), which I don't think will last that long...IP: Logged |

Well, Lara, I'm in agreement with you (and VirgOh, of course). Being Arabic and raised in the US and having just come back to the US from a 9-month stretch in Egypt, all I can say is that the issue is more complex than many can fathom. Lobbyists/AIPAC are very prominent factors indeed in the US. But the unfortunate fact is that Arab countries are generally very, very divided and should be more responsible and united regarding this subject. But most of them are scared of rocking the boat too much, and it's bad for business (still doesn't make it acceptable). IP: Logged |

Edit your posts, sd. Racial slurs are NOT allowed at Lindaland (except maybe in Global Unity). I've copied Randall. I suggest you take care of it yourself, like an adult. I don't appreciate seeing the Zionist conspirace here either, at the Astrology forum, but at least slurs weren't aimed at individuals in this thread. If it's political discussion you want, TAKE IT TO G.U. at this website. This string was about John Travolta's son's death. IP: Logged |

I have noticed for many years that many, many souls choose to take flight during the Holiday Season.I have noticed in my job, we have more patients die during this time, I have noticed in the media...I have experienced in my personal life, this holiday season 2 deaths. And the deaths are never related to depression, ie: suicide, overdoses, etc, mainly "natural causes." Does anybody know of any spiritual reasoning for souls choosing to take flight away from earth during this time? IP: Logged |
