Has anyone else noticed that people who aspect your DSC ruler in synastry can monopolize your attention, and that there's a sort of 'stand back and behold' type of fascination....as well as attraction!Just curious on everbodies experiences. Also, have you ever had someone's Venus or Mars aspecting the DSC ruler and how did it feel? How about someone's else's DSC ruler aspecting your planets... could you perceive your affect on them? My DSC ruler is Venus. People who make close aspects to my Venus DO get my attention and I find those are the people I pursue/like/fall in love with/etc. The last guy I was involved with, I fell HARD. If you count aspects like semi square, quintile, etc (only a few of them are)...my Venus makes an aspect to EVERY planet of his..including NN, Juno, Eros, ASC, and MC. The only thing my Venus doesn't aspect is his Chiron. I definitely think aspects to your DSC ruler are meaningful.. ------------------ Capricorn sun / Scorpio rising / Sagittarius moon Mercury:: Sagittarius Venus::Scorpio Mars::Pisces IP: Logged |

Oh good lord, yes. My DC ruler is Pluto, and it's also the ruler of my Venus (which conjuncts my descendant)...I feel if someone doesn't activate my DC, then I am not really wanting long-term at all, not enough attraction to sustain something substantial for me. However. God help them when they do make an aspect, because my Pluto squares Saturn exactly, so it's like hell in a way LOL. I like it when someone's personal planets conjunct my DC, it feels intimate. I am kind of a believer that if the DC ruler doesn't get activated then maybe the relationship doesn't quite get off the ground.

yup! my DC ruler is mercury, and my mercury conjuncts my lovely's jupiter, and also trines his venus. his DC ruler trines my moon and conjuncts my NN, but more widely. we really like eachother incidentally, his DC is exactly conjunct my sun-moon midpoint, so i figure that makes up for the wider orbs IP: Logged |

Yes, definitely.I think it`s the reason that there are always so many Mercury-aspects in synastry with men I really feel attracted to (to their as well as my mercury). Mercury rules my DSC and conjuncts my Sun exactly. And most men I fell for had either Virgo or Gemini on one of the angles. IP: Logged |

i don't know, my dsc ruler is part of a conjunction with saturn/neptune [uranus]. this is generational, all people born late of 88, and all into 89, have these planets, so it gets aspected too commonly. what really sucks is the generational aspect in my chart of venus square uranus, i can't put up with any of them lol. So would this be why Paul Newman/Joanne Woodward who had conjuncting AC's/DC's felt so much for each other?Do the conjuncting AC's make it special as the DC's are conjunct? IP: Logged |
