It seems alot of people who despise a signs qualities seem to have children with that sign..

Why do you think that happens? Has this happened to anyone you know?

Theyre insensitive most of the time and too fickle. I get along with venus and moon in gemini but when the sun is in gemini its a different story.

I wonder if its because i pick up on the same energy as my mum who I believed to have treated me so wrong. When I was younger she was my best friend but I was naive and blind to her faults (Neptune on my IC)

Yeah... Happened to my mom. My grandmother was a Virgo (but a stodgy old mean one, truly) and then my mom ended up with me, also a Virgo. Really, my mother had good reason to dislike my grandmother, but mostly because she typically displayed the really negative traits of Virgo. (My mom was an Aquarius, btw).

I wouldn't say that my mother hates me by any stretch of the imagination, but she and I fought quite a bit when I was a child, mostly because she kept trying to make me into a girly girl when I was clearly a tom boy. Reverse psychology would have been a better strategy with me, as I am incredibly stubborn and will do things how I want to do them.

Now she and I get along better, but on occasion she will tease me about my choices in things (people I hang out with, clothes I wear, etc), stating that it is exactly like my Virgo grandmother.

As for myself, I've had a lot of Aqua friends, and I really don't dislike Aquas that much. Some of their traits bug me, but not as much as Geminis... So if I ever end up with a kid that really rubs me the wrong way, it will probably be a Gemini.

I wish I knew what sign my mother hated but she's not into astrology.
Maybe Virgo and Gemini maybe since she has kids who are both. And her husband is a Gemini moon too.

LOL. I have that exact sun/moon combo!

Dammit. So now I'm going to be stuck with a cancer moon child? Cancer mooners (the ones I know) are too damn moody and fickle for my taste.

I'm a Gemini Sun, but most people who I meet are surprised to know this is my sign for some reason. They usually think I'm Capricorn or Scorpio.

My mom (a Scorpio) absolutely hated her Gemini sister and was horrified when she found out I was going to be a Gemini. Lol. The funny thing is that we're very much alike, though she is far more outgoing than I am.

I think that our kids tend to be signs we hate because we're meant to learn more about that sign. Face it, regardless of sign, you're going to love your kids (assuming you don't have certain psychological issues). Loving someone with a despised zodiac sign forces you to find something positive about the sign you hate.

But I usually see parents giving birth to their opposite sign, recently my Scorpio friend gave birth to a Taurus.

My mom is a Pisces..

My Aquarian cousin will have a baby Leo.

Some of my friends' have parents that are the opposite sign.

It happened with my grandmother who hated her Cancer father... and she had a Cancer daughter (mum's sis)..

But her first child was my mum (Leo w. Scorpio, but no Cancer)

My mum dislikes Aquarius and Scorpio energy often... but she did not have a child with those influences.
I'm her only child.

I have problems with the following aspects, in a natal chart:

Venus square Mars (I really don't get this one.. I have the trine myself. They seem to dislike men and women alike..)

Venus retrograde (The ones I've met in RL seem narcissistic in a very strange and removed way. They're not interested in interacting with anyone but themselves)

Mars opposite or square Pluto (hugeeee pet peeve for me in men. Too much anger and aggression)

Mars opposite or square Saturn (in men this can turn sadistic, in a not so kinky kind of way.. from what I've seen)

If my kids had those, I'd scream.

If my children had those carefree aspects I fear in relationships I'd be happy. I would like my children to be independant and care free. But if they had a pisces moon or lots of water I'd probably worry about them more and be more clingy with them.

If she weren't so funny we'd have more problems but she definitely has a strong gift for humor, plus she charms everyone under the sun. The only Gemini thing she does that still grates on me is how they play dumb just for fun, to see what you'll do or how you'll react, it's a mind game I think. I get on her for that, but happily her Sun and Asc form a grand trine with my Saturn so I guess I'm a good stabilizing influence for all that AIR.

Although I wouldn't get too upset if she lost her voice every-other-day Gemini Sun trine Aquarius Asc, Uranus H1.

Keep in mind the Male Gems are diffrent from the Female gems, and then from there the males can be diffrent from
other males.

I mean both me a Got Gemini are in two diffrent directions, I take it he's more fun loving and I'm more of a serrious
Donald Trump gemini.

Of course it has its pros and cons, at least a more serrious gemini is focused.

But, will never be happy wanting to achieve the next task in there mind.

Assuming you had the child and the child was born in june, I'm certain you whould have been happy if he was a male Gemini.

Just because my mom(cancer) has had her moments when she whould have arguments with my dad(cancer) and pull away,
luckly her gemini son(jack of all trade) could take on some of the tasks he whould do.

When I was younger I was alot closer to my mom, simply because I never was and still am not a fan of my cancer dad.

We whould do the everyday hug before school and work, my cancer mom was also vary intuitive with me.

I don't think its that hard to become intutive with a gem, sure some signs can pic up better then most signs. But depends on how close and how much you pay attention to them.

Aquas and taurus can read me like a book, vary easily.

I still remember the day I felt sick after eating something from lunch, I kid you not as soon as I came home she was the first one to ask me if something went wrong.

Gem are good when geting information fast

I'm a big fan of google and youetube, need to figure out something type it in to google, or check out the do it yourself videos on youetube.

If theres a problem chances are someone else had the same problem and posted it online somewhere.

Its a shame you don't have any leo in your chart belgz, cancers with leos tend to do vary well with Gem's.

As for the topic how is this for giving birth to the sign you hate.

Both me and my sister generaly get along, but we have are arguments/debates were both pretty defensive with are views.

My capircorn sister gave birth to a Gemini Female thats vary much like me,

example I have aries moon she has aries rising and are charts go on like that, I belive she had Capircorn Moon while
I have Capircorn rising.

From what I take my sister isn't a fan of gems. She'd be happier if she gave birth to another earth sign.

Even when my niece cries she looks at me as if i'm the one to save her, lol

She's 2yrs old.

I get along with leos and gemini moons.

I actually do get along with a male friend of mine whos a gemini sun with venus and mars in taurus, he makes me laugh so much. Actually I used to be really close with another gemini guy when I was younger and he used to always make me laugh too. I never had issues with any male geminis, your right it might just be the females.

I went to my mums house today and laid down on the lounge in front of her and said "We need to talk" and she stopped and looked at me and said "about what this time?" LOL So I explained that I am seeing this pattern with people giving birth to signs they don't get along with and I said I need to get along with geminis so "amuse me".

She ignored me as she wasn't fascinated with my astrology talk. Then 15 minutes later when she finally stopped typing away to someone on the internet she said its not Gemini's I need to get along with it's actually her I need to make peace with. So I said "ok" and completely forgot why I went there when I got distracted by my cat and I got up and left not long after and now I'm at home and it suddenly occurred to me that I actually sometimes do love my mum when shes happy and shes talking away and laughing with me but when shes distressed shes a nervous anxious, psycho screaming at me telling me to go away and always talking about how she can't handle anything. Other than that my mum used to be very social and always gave me freedom and let me do whatever I wanted. I like that quality about Gemini. I like how theyre always almost up for anything and can be funny. I like how my mum is never lazy. I like how shes always moving around and doing something. I like how she shares everything with me whether it be right or wrong, she doesnt do anything secretly and doesn't really care what other poeple think but she doesnt have the right morals and is sometimes out of control with her aries moon shes impulsive. These are great qualities but not when shes my carer or parent. I expect responsible behaviour.

I have another friend whos a double Gemini and I have been friends with her for years but she is annoying because when you dont go out every night of the week or do something she gets restless and does and says stupid things. Like my mum when under pressure she f**** up. She will spoil everything for everyone turning up drunk or with 20 guys and will get on everyones nerves and that type of behaviour when a gemini is being reckless cause of boredom makes me edgy and I can't feel at ease around them.
