Are the active midpoints in your chart the most powerful? Which are the most relevant to your life? I'm a little confused about what to pay attention to given that, using the mp calculator on Astro.com, you're given a list of, say, a hundred different mps. That's quite a lot! Which are the most relevant to a chart?IP: Logged |

I mean I feel they have to activated by transit, a planet in your own natal or through synastry for you to feel them. The most important one is the midpoint between your SUN and MOON and we tend to feel attracted to people that fall in our Sun/Moon midpoint.IP: Logged |

From personal experience, the ones closely square/conj/opp a planet. I have; Moon/Merc midpoint=Mars in 6th ruling Asc Venus/Mars midpoint=Plu in 7th ruling 8th Mars/Saturn midpoint=Pluto Sun/Venus midpoint =Ura in 8th ruling 11th Merc/Uran midpoint =Sun in 9th ruling 5th Moon/Merc midpoint =Sun Also note closely those that involve the Sun/Moon or Asc.

The midpoint of my 2H ruler and 8H ruler is a point of loss or heartbreak with pluto or chiron activating it. Jupiter activated it in January and nothing sticks out though. It was a good month financially for us compared to the January before though.IP: Logged |

Wish I knew more... I have quite a few planets falling on midpoints. This blog does a fair assessment on certain aspects. http://john-sandbach.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=20 10-11-20T17:20:00-08:00&max-results=7&start=91&by-date=false&m=1 Astroseek.com has a more efficient midpoint calculator than Astro.com Conjunctions (0° orbs) only—mine are: Sun = Venus/Uranus Sun = Venus/Neptune Mercury = Venus/Saturn Venus = Mars/Uranus Venus = Mars/Neptune Venus = Uranus/ASC Venus = Neptune/ASC Saturn = Moon/Mercury Uranus = Mercury/Pluto Neptune = Mercury/Pluto Uranus = Saturn/NN Neptune = Saturn/NN NN = Jupiter/Saturn

[QUOTE]Originally posted by vansio:Astroseek.com has a more efficient midpoint calculator than Astro.com I have such a love/hate relationship with Astroseek. I find them to be one of the more in-depth astrology websites out there, but the website itself is so poorly maintained! It crashes constantly and takes an absolute eternity to load pages. But, maybe that's just my experience, or maybe things have improved since I last attempted to use it. I'll definitely try to wrangle it in order and check out the mps there, thank you! IP: Logged |
