Topic: Saturn in Capricorn conj a Cappy Ascendant.... thoughts??

I'm guessing Saturn in Capricorn in 1st house within 2 degrees of an Ascendant in Capricorn would impart some pretty strong Cappy influences, especially as Saturn is in its natural sign and being conj with the Ascendant makes it chart ruler......... but what would these be? Would it make for a typical 'Saturnine' personality, or are there any other quirks it would nurture? Any thoughts would be great, thanks. IP: Logged |

Oh, I know. Thanks. I'm not doing a chart though. These are my own placements  I've looked at my own chart a dozen times, just never really given much thought to the strong Saturn influences and wondered if they added anything special.I'll give you the whole chart if you think that would be more helpful but it's possible to look at specific placements seperately as well, I'm sure? Probably a reserved appearance. I doubt you'd be the life of the party, probably stand back and wait for people to approach you. "Austere" is also a good word for what you're like at first. Strong silent type.I have the Saturn opposition with my ASC. People are afraid to approach me. IP: Logged |

It would make you worldly wise, ambitious, hardworking and serious. Physically, it probably gives you good bone structure. You know how to plan for the future. No one has to tell you twice to save for a rainy day! You're practical, have a natural authority and good business sense. I also have Capricorn rising, but my Saturn is in Scorpio, so I wonder if this would make me more...emotional? IP: Logged |

Thanks amowls and Astra!Fair comments I think... it's hard to judge when you're talking about yourself so I'll have to ask my friends! But I'm probably not the stand-out type until I've had a few drinks and unless I'm with people I know and like.
I can be rather serious and morbid... and can sometimes come across a bit pompous as I think I know everything experience wise haha.
Not sure about hard-working... ambitious, yes... but with a curious lack of direction!
I'd say my bones are pretty good, yes, no issues there Astra- That's when I get confused- interpreting planets related to prominent signs, or how to interpret the Ascendant sign's planet! Don't suppose you know anything about that? Doing a friend's chart at the moment IP: Logged |
