I don't want to know what Saturn in 11th means, I'm just wondering if is considered a good position as Saturn in 10th house.

Definitely.

Of course there are ups and downs to every placement.. But, I'd say it is "favorable"

Really, Saturn can put a burden in pretty much any house it's positioned in.. But, it can also be an area of great accomplishment. May be hard, but the reward is more than we could ever imagine.

Certainly. Much better than having an impatient Aries Saturn lol.

^^ xD xD impatient Aries Saturn. Haha

In a way though, that could help you learn patience in a way some other placements may not. Sometimes to learn all we can about something, first, we must be without it.. Or, to first know what it is like to struggle with it. That way, when we overcome those things, it is easier for us to help others who struggle with these things.. Because we know what it's like.

Some things can only be learned in their wholeness through first understanding what it means to struggle with it.

Hmm.. A really simple example would be that I was the last person to learn to read in my class.. In that same year, I became one of the most accomplished spellers in my class. I was very determined.

Not to mention, that struggle that is sometimes faced with Saturn can either overcome us, or, it can give us a desire and determination that may not have been there if we were given everything to begin with.

I guess sometimes that struggle can also bring discernment.

Very true. It all goes back to the concept of how a bunch of squares can make you go farther than a bunch of trines.

Saturn in the 11H is not any easier than in any other house.

It generally points to feeling like you don't "fit in" anywhere, and it's hard to relate to people. The social life can suffer a lot from this, and the native often feels very lonely and socially "inept" (because they believe they're more "mature" than the average person, or because they have different expectations of "relationships", or because they think they're boring, or find other people boring, etc.)

It can also put limits to future goals and dreams. The native can find it hard to plan their future and have realistic goals in life...

Overall it's fairly easy to feel "disconnected" from people with Saturn in the 11H so I wouldn't say it's a favorable position.

Even though with time one gets "used" to it and may believe/feel that they don't desire nor need a social life. (This can be true if they're more oriented towards 1 on 1 relationships and have a S.O.)

I have Saturn in 11H Leo. I have always been put in "leader positions" and people EXPECT me to take charge whereas I might occasionally be a little cat wanting to hide..

I have also always gotten help from friends that have been older and wiser.

The negative might be that Saturn is opposite my Cap Moon in 5H and I have a very strict view on bringing up children. I don't do the whole "play in the mudd" thing. I like to provide/correct wrongs and rights. To compare with my husband that has Saturn conjunct Moon in 2H...he is a complete child himself and can play with them for hours!

I will also agree with Doux that I usually feel like an "alien". People look at me and expect things I am nowhere near fulfilling :-/ But then again, I am a Uranian "misfit" so nothing really applies to me

The one good thing that I believe I've gained from my Saturn in H11 is that I am very dedicated to social causes.

I also have Cap Mars and Aqua Mercury in H6, so that compliments the placement a bit, in the sense that I work in environments that are geared to help people.

But Saturn really does anchor me in there as well. I'm glad for that.

Otherwise, yes it's a pain.
I have a few placements that seem to really emphasize my natal Saturn, like Uranus opposite MC, so no it's not easy for me to feel part of a group.

That can be a pain when it would be better for me to be able to network (or whatever you want to call it).

One on one interaction is far more productive for me in general.

I have saturn in the 11th and many many times I've rejected being "popular" and having lots of superficial friends and opted for a few close friends.

Sometimes it can be lonely but this can illustrated the loneliness felt while in a crowd too.

The other nice thing about this is that the 11th house is also the house of goals which means you can achieve a lot, albeit slowly but surely.

I never thought of that! ha I have Saturn in the 11th in scorpio. I am very big on quality over quantity when it comes to friendships. The friends that I choose to have are very lasting,
