I had it last year or so.
It sucked and a relationship or money issue is front and center.

Security dilemmas concerning affection/relationships, taste and money. I suppose you'll feel more insecure concerning those aspects.

Saturn has been opposing my Venus, and natally I have the square, so all Saturn is doing is making me feel like not socializing where these issues can be exacerbated. Thinking about parties just makes me feel tired.

I heard someone say-if someone had this transit, it would difficult to hold a steady relationship?

This transit was nothing but a freaking wet blanket in terms of personal finances and socializing. I moved to a new state when it was happening and I didn't go out because I had nothing in common with anyone around me, and then I was jobless for months after getting fired.

I found myself buried in books, which is oddly fitting for a gemini venus in such a situation.

It sucked.
Venus is also my chart ruler and part of a fixed T-square in it. When Saturn squared my Venus, it was also squaring my Mars and Jupiter.

I don't think it would be as difficult for everyone though...it really depends on what else you have going on with transits. I had Pluto squaring my sun around that time, which just added to the mess, so it's hard to separate.

I got married around that transit, btw. The relationship went south soon after, but I'm pretty sure that had nothing to do with the transit lol.

Well it could either make you take all relationships really seriously because you want to lock one down, or it could make you super picky and "clean house" so to speak.

No, but it wasn't because of the transit. It became serious very fast, which I think reflects saturn. Saturn is not casual.

I read somewhere that it isn't always about relationships breaking off, but more about getting serious about what you want, or don't want. Squares cause friction and ask you to make a choice. The build-up of energy toward that decision point has been collecting and has to be released.

"Oh, waitress? Can I have 18 bowls of oatmeal and 4 cups of coffee...black."

Oh joy, I`m going to have Tr Saturn square Venus in september; shortly after that Tr Saturn conjuncts Pluto, and Tr Pluto will be conjunct Venus and after that squaring Pluto.

*sighs*

All things are temporary. Good things can still come from 'bad' transits. Just like sometimes nothing awesome happens during so-call 'good' transits. It's all about perspective.
