I wonder a lot about this aspect, and if you've got experiences with it or thoughts, I'd like to hear about them. These two together, to me, seem to indicate a constant war where you're not sure who wins. Jupiter = the expansive meets Saturn = the stifler. So you've got one planet who amplifies the house it's in, and increases the power of whatever planet it is near. But then, Saturn, the one who disciplines, who controls, who doesn't let things get too out of hand, is right next to it. Jupiter would amplify Saturn's principals and energies, and Saturn, in turn, would want to stifle Jupiter (which Jupiter would increase in the first place, but is it being increased?), so in this scenario, who wins and what happens? These are just my musings but it seems a conundrum. IP: Logged |

yes of course,jupiter/saturn aspects are found often in charts of people who did things (good or bad) which affected a society on a large scale these are the two most significant planets (the two biggest ones as well), and they work together to shape a person's life...a person born with these two in an aspect, has perhaps an easier time grasping the meaning of life (philosophy/jupiter) and blending it in an effort to build and construct (saturn) for not only him/herself, but the whole society
attracting wealth and large resources is also common, but one major life lesson for these people is perhaps this that money shouldn't be used for selfish reasons, and the person's motive behind his/her efforts must not be only accumulating gold, or he will be questioned for it and humiliated in the public eye through developing a nasty/stingy/materialistic character however, depending on how the person decides to use this aspect energy, it can result in a heaven or a hell. if the person is selfish (a la trump), they make situations hard on themselves and others...if they look to elevate others through effort and encouraging, they can create a heaven on earth (example being a number of people I know with the conjunction and opposition which are involved in the politics/government (not usa) and are doing great helping people and creating better societies in most aspects

@girlwitherainysoulThank you for that detailed post. It's quite interesting how you talk about their actions like that. The person in question who has this, is not underhanded at all, but rather, quite passive and enabling. I wonder if that could be considered selfish, and if yes, then perhaps it does very much play a part in why people around them are suffering so much. IP: Logged |

I would say its much like gaining muscle. You first bulk up(Jupiter) then cut(Saturn). Can't bypass one with the other. Gamble/taking chances(Jupiter) then filtering to those that will likely work out(Saturn). Having a stringent(Saturn) set of opinions(Jupiter). Or being able to poke holes(Saturn) at other people's inflated statements(Jupiter). Steady(Saturn)growth(Jupiter). My close Aqua friend has the conjunction of the two in Libra. He is very bright but was obstructed in going for higher education. For him it plays out as an intellect complex. He is self taught(Saturn ) and wants to know about lots of things(Jupiter).Quick to criticize or view educated people as overrated or lacking in something etc. I would call him someone who is cynical(Saturn) about academic knowledge(Jupiter). Preferring to learn on the job or through hardships encountered practically. Also doesn't believe in God of the bible and all that. Thinks its a hoax.... IP: Logged |

This aspect indicates a fusion of the inhibition/learning (Saturn) and growth/expansion principles (Jupiter) so that expansion results in projects and ambitions of a more long lasting worthy value. Think of it as a process in which paternal Saturn instructs happy-go-lucky Jovian that not every chance at 'more' is better, that quality -- of life, leadership, ethics -- are more important than the easy opportunities offered so readily in modern societies. It is a soul growth stage in which one can integrate integrity into one's aspirations. Good fortune induces greater responsibility and this aspect reminds us of the principle of noblesse oblige. You may not think of yourself so lucky as to be an aristocrat or nobility, but what if you were? Are your material aims worthy of that? It is an aspect that asks you take abstract ideals and make material goals out of them. Think of it as investing short term efforts step-by-step into longer-term goals that will really build something worthy. With Saturn time and experiential learning wins out. This aspect is not one of day-to-day struggle, but of integrity and worthwhile aims, of practical experiential learning guiding your view to building bigger things. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology - by the declinations guy Declinations - because the planets move north and south of the celestial equator IP: Logged | |
