Yes this is very confusing lol.... I think we're all kind of used to astro is why. Plus all the planets 'hanging out' is weird to analyze

Yes, very true!! For hours! And never run out of things to talk about! None of those awkward sudden silence things..

*You know, I've always done this weird test thing with men. We all have one, don't we?? Just a personal thing that we never tell them, but we spring it on them, and see if they pass or fail.
I kind of quit doing this for awhile, because it was always such a dismal failure, and totally unfair to the guy, who doesn't even know he's being judged on my silly whims.

Anyway, after being with someone for awhile and having feelings for them, I say, "Tell me a story."

You would not believe how many people can't do that!!!
I've heard so many half-hearted excuses with that question. Like they don't even want to try.

He tells me stories. And I didn't have to ask, he asked ME if I wanted to hear one, when I couldn't sleep.

I'm pretty bad at trying to tell stories, but I would try for people that I'm really close to. Years ago, my Dad jokingly asked me to tell my parents a story, and I responded with something like: "What do you want to hear? The Little Loan Officer That Could?" (The first things that came to mind, since they were both loan officers.) I loved making up stories, until it attracted unwanted attention to me in school (teacher embarrassing me, by reading one aloud.)

quote:
He tells me stories. And I didn't have to ask, he asked ME if I wanted to hear one, when I couldn't sleep.

I would love it if someone did this for me.

*edit. His Venus trine your Moon/Mars looks nice.

Funny thing, a Pisces sun falling into your 12th lol. And yours in his 6th. So a 6-12 house thing going. Opposite, but also, I think complimentary.

Where do you want to go with this relationship, Gypsee? I think there's potential there. Are you looking to marry/remarry? I ask because I get a strong marriage vibe off your combined energies.

Also, he feels like he would be not so Neptunian in the vaguely fruitcake way with his sun in the 10th. Especially with his Mercury conj Saturn. But you might think him very Neptunian/nebulous/fruitcake-y because his sun falls in your 12th

Teasel, I love your story! That's hilarious!!

You are adorable.

Well, MVM, he said he wanted to marry me when we were together 23 years ago. He ended up going to jail for stealing a car (it was his roomates car, long story, not as bad as it sounds) and I was going to wait, but then they extradited him to the state that the crime occured in.

We lost touch.
Soon after, he met and had kids, but never married, a Virgo gal.

And, I had kids and married a Cappy guy, to which I still am legally wed, in the "peice of paper sense."

But, I'm really happy about your vibe, because, he has mentioned marriage ALOT, throughout this past 5 months.
Distance and who moves where is a MAJOR issue, as neither one of us wants to be away from our children.
Yet, I feel like this is huge for me, and, well, when you get a little older, you sort of see time differently, and you don't really want to waste any chances.

He calls me by his last name all the time.

*Yes, I do see him in the "Pisces" way, because that's the way he comes across, but he also has a very practical side, in which he is very career oriented, and driven. I admire that in a man.
He says he doesn't much care for people, he REALLY comes across to strangers as his ASC, and he tells me that other than his son, I am the only person that can make him crack up laughing. It's a very, IDK, joyful experience, after me spending 3 years with the Scorpio guy. I feel as if my heart has grown wings, you know??

Wow, what a story! OK, I'm glad I was on with the marriage vibe. So weird because I could not tell you why specifically. It's not something I could point to in the sense of a single aspect. Rather, the way your charts work together, it looks like a very long-term 'friends forever and we also turn each other on' feeling. And to me, that's part of what makes marriage. But it's also like, even if you two had just met, I would still get the same friends forever thing.
I think 7th house stuff is overrated, btw, as far as marriage/love. I think activating harmonious element houses in synastry is something which is important (like 6-12, 4-10, 3-9, that kind of thing)...

I hear you, about not wanting to waste time with age
I think the story will have a happy ending for you guys though. It's just what my gut tells me.

Well, I'm LOVING your guts right now!

(That cracks me up, because it's a teenager saying, my daughter and her friends always say to one another, "I love your guts!")

Since this is LL, and everything is always so deja vu-ish, sychronized and such, I'll tell you that before I even posted this, when I was just only thinking about posting it, like a week ago, I knew it would be you that answered. And why, I don't know, since so many do synastries here. I guess you had the answer.

Yes, when you get older, alot of it IS about friendship. Man, that is important!!
The "I love you but I don't like you" stuff gets so old, and wears on you.

He is the sort of person that makes everything fun. I remember us being dead ass broke back in the day, and having to sit home just watching random movies on tv for HOURS, and that was fun.
Driving around going nowhere was fun.

I know what you are saying about the 7th house stuff. I have a better synastry with the Scorpio guy, but, ugg, you know, I've just come to the realization that it's more about values for long term.
You just really need to be on the same page with the major issues (and even some minor ones! Lord, the fights the Scorpio and I had over the radio station! Ridiculous!) to make it last.

This one feels the same about religion, politics, family, etc..
He's Southern and old fashioned, meaning he believes in taking care of a lady, treating a lady like a lady, etc..

K, I'm gushing, I'll quit.

Thanks for making my night MVM

I'm glad I made your night! - it's made mine to be of service (damn, how Virgo can one get ) and LOL 'Love your guts'!!!heeeheee...And you know, I don't often comment on synastry...maybe fleetingly I will comment, but it's very rare when charts grab me.

I'm sure a lot of people here can give you specific reasons *why* this relationship is the way it is though. I almost always feel like I am just going through the motions in a boring way (to me) when I do that. I prefer to fly by the seat of my pants

I also was married to a Cappy as well, btw. We had 'good synastry' I guess, in the sense of the 7th house stuff. But we were oooooh so different. Different views on politics, spirituality, family, etc. He was a stick in the mud...I was 'The Weirdo', 'The Rebel', (interestingly, his 7th house ruler, which supposedly shows the 'first marriage', squared Uranus, sooo )....

After that marriage, I decided on friendship with passion. Slowly, I am discovering that what defines a good friend for me is the very opposite of what I had married in the past. So I guess great sex just wasn't enough, dammit LOL.

Keep us posted on what happens, lady

Ok, nicy nicy ones first:

1)Your Ven sext his Merc. Happy union of his mind and your loveliness. Easy exchange.
2) Your Nept-Merc trine his Jup. What are you guys on, I ll have some, too, so to speak.
3)Your Moon-Mars trine his Ven. Can is get any better?
4)Your Moon-Mars sext his Mars-Karma. It feels very karmic and deep and sexy, but I need IQ here. Are you reading this, IQ?
You know Moon-Mars people often fantasise about shooting their mother! LOL Sorry, off topic,

Oppositions:
1)Your Jup-Karma opp his Ven. Feel good factor,Attracts wealth, or Feeling of being well off, whatever the actual financial situation. Wealth of feelings and love.
2)Your Pluto-Uranus opp his Jup. He encourages your need for freedom and uniqueness, you are who you are with him. You want to take off in a hot air baloon? He will cut the rope for you! The relationship is prone to sudden strokes of luck.

LOL @ Star;

He loves his Mother, but not TOO much, a big deal for me, she even lives in a different state! Yay!

We aren't on anything this time around, both of us are sober, so that makes it better, because you never know if something was real or not when you spent most of your time loaded.
Much better now.

The Squares:
1) Sun squ Sun.Ego war, competitive, abrasive, scratchy, stimulating ( have you noticed this word always appears in sticky situations, basically meaning sh1te, LOL), can turn into love-hate relationship.
2)Your Ven squ his Jup. Neither of you are restricting each other in anything in the relationship. Loving, spending, eating, drinking, tripping and so on. Don't over do it, you two!
3) Your Ven squ his Pluto.
Wow. Can it get any deeper? This is an experience, girlfriend. The constant undercurrent of bubbling volcano lava underneath the reverberating earth... Lucky for some, archie! LOL.
4) Moon squ Moon. This is from cafe astrology:
Challenging aspects: It is more difficult for the two of you to be in sync with each other because of this aspect. When one is up, the other may be down, or one of you is a night person while the other is an early bird. Timing can be tricky, and it will take some adjustment to find a way to relate and reduce frustrations. Certain habits or idiosyncrasies of your partner can be almost unbearable for you. With time, patience and love, each of you can modify the most offensive irritants, and the rest will simply have to be tolerated if you plan to share a residence.
