So, it's that time again. Every few months I find myself changing somehow. Outwardly, to match the change inwardly. I thought this was a result of my Scorpio ASC/Pluto 1st placement. I'm always transforming. However, last night I was talking to a friend who DOESN'T have this placement, but does feels the same way.

He calls it "restlessness." He has Venus in Sagittarius, which might make sense as I have Venus in the 9th conjunct Jupiter.

But it got me thinking, who else reinvents themselves? Who else has to consistently keep changing? How do you reinvent yourself? What aspects do you have? How do you feel about this behavior? Tell me all!

I feel like that quite often. I call it Gypsee spirit

Venus in Saggie here. Sun in Saggie.
I feel the urge to change places and jobs every 2 years (and I usually manage to pull it off.) Stagnation doesn't work for me. The only thing I keep are my closest people. Those I tend to be loyal to forever, but everything else MUST go!

Venus, Neptune and Merc in Sag here. I've been like that a lot, and I am quite deliberate in what I choose to wear and so forth.

Of course your fellow Leo, Madonna, is known for her reinventing herself. On the other hand, so is Capricorn David Bowie.

Lol, Yin.

Yep, me too! What Yin said.

People that have looked through my pics on myspace always say that I look so different, and am I sure that's me?
Yep, it's me.
I've kept the same hair color for a long time now, and only due to EXTREME laziness.

Same with the style, it's long, so it's easy to take care of.
Last year, around this time, I just got up one morning and cut bangs. Don't know what I was thinking there! Bangs need maintenance, and I don't want to maintain!

I've had facial peircings in and out.
Glasses, then contacts, then back to glasses.

I get bored SOOOO ridiculously easy, I'm like a child in a grown up bod. Oh well.

I wonder if all Saggie women are alike or is it just you and me, babe?

I am eager to physically reinvent myself. I feel the old age coming on. Not that I can do anything to stop it but maybe slow it down a little?
They say Saggies are quite vain.
Maybe Yoga can help? LOL.

They say the only thing constant is change.

So, if you fear being stagnant, and you are preoccupied with change, isn't that preoccupation a constant??

These are the things I think, and they really make no sense.

Yin, you are a natural beauty, you eat right, and you live right, I am sure you will age VERY gracefully!

(The longest job I ever had was two years as well. But, I often work at a place more than once! WEIRD!)

I've done this so often in the past 5 years, and I have my moon in the 8th house (transformation). I also have my Chart Ruler (Saturn) in Sag conjunct Uranus, and I think the Cancer sun has something to do with it also (the moon is always changing, and so do we).

I feel like that too, except for the fact that I don't usually change that much physically (except for my hair , I'm always dying my hair different colours) , but I also feel the NEED to change jobs, friends, home, etc... if I don't have at least one major change once a year I literally get depressed.
I have no "real" Saggie placements, except for moon in 9th house and Jupiter in Sagittarious (but since that's an outer planet I don't think it counts much).

Anyway, I do think it's a nice trait to have, I only wish I didn't feel the need a change as often.

I thought I had Libra Ascendant before I got on LL.
That Ascendant never made sense cuz it was the Ascendant for a person whose life fit.
She did everything right and her life worked out
Well, that was not me.
So, when an astrologer figured out I had a Scorpio Ascendant, it made sense.
This Ascendant calls on you to transform or die.
I mostly died until the last transformation when I decided to fight back and live.

My family moved around a lot, thanks to both my mother and father.. mum is a Sadge Sun, he's a Sadge ascendant.

I also have a Gemini Moon conjunct Venus, which , when you taking into account the usual Gemini descriptions, could account for someone who likes to learn new things. I have a certain love of stability, but I would go crazy if I had to stick with one interest or live in one area for my whole life... (romantic relationships don't count here - I'm fine with being "just friends" with most people ).

*edit. I forgot about the whole transformation thing, with Scorpio (my ascendant, conjunct Uranus).

I don't like the idea of constant change, or continual complacency... I need a balance between the two.

*edit. I was just thinking, after I walked away, that several good things would never have happened for me, if I hadn't had a change forced upon me (I either do something right away, or think, and think, and think some more... until I can't take it anymore, if I still want to do it).

My parents both create a certain stability, wherever they go. They occasionally bash heads, when it comes to what should be paid first, when it comes to bills, but neither wants to be homeless. My mother has also dyed her hair, ever since she turned sixteen (she couldn't remember her real hair colour, when I asked her about it).

I've also unintentionally created some chaos, with things that I've got myself into.

My thoughts are all over the place tonight, and I have to rush off. Sorry for the scattered post.

I've recently had a physical change to match the internal change. Pluto in Virgo? Nept. in Scorp? Uranus in Virgo? Jup. in Gem? Pis. Sun? I have lots of mutable, so I think that I'm heavily pre-wired for change and reformation.
I'm 44, on bio-identical HRT, eat well and strength train to manage my spinal curvature dysfunction. I feel that I am at my personal best where my body and spirit are finally in tune. I have more vitality now. The most I have ever had in my life. The road for me to attain this was quite rocky. However, I'm quite attracted to rocks and I feel that I surely aided in constructing that rocky path. Stubborn and changeable is quite an interesting combo to balance.
My sister-in-law asked me what the heck happened to me, I look so different.
My brother told me that I look younger than my 32 year old niece.
Mostly, I changed my self-perception and this was perhaps the most miraculous anti-aging tool.
We are surrounded by the earthly comparison mirror. I don't think breaking that mirror brings you bad luck...quite the opposite. It allows us the freedom and appreciation to embrace the wonder of ALL unique design.

Ami - I'm right there with you. I had to die unto myself and the "light" was pretty dim.

i've got jupiter conjunct my ascendant, exactly. so its making a nice square to my H3 moon. my family can't keep up with me...always asking me what i eat now (i go back and forth bewteen vegan, raw and vegetarian). i'm either shaving my head, wearing an afro or doing something else that they don't understand. i'm always into something new... i do feel the need to change scenery often. i transferred in the midst of both high school and college the latter of which required a trek cross country. since then i've lived in 3 different cities and am soooo itching to move right now....just a little while longer.
