The natural ruler of the 3rd house is Mercury, but if Jupiter is in the 3rd house or in aspect with Mercury or influences the 3rd house in any way, the person could be the types who 'are larger than life' sometimes. You know? I would say Venus is an overlooked one. I cannot joke with Libra or Virgo Venus in the way I can with other Venus signs. Libra Venus gets grossed out by things.Virgo Venus takes things too literally. This is my experience, to date. I am not forming a doctrine on it  ------------------
