Some of you might be thinking, what?!?!?Yes yes, in addition to when transit Sun conjuncts your natal Sun (natal birthday), you have a second birthday when transit Sun conjuncts your ASC. This is an extra boost of energy (much like refueling a car for a long journey) and you'll feel like a spotlight is on you! (Great time to start projects) When are your two birthdays? Taurus Sun 19" --> May 10th Scorpio ASC 6" --> October 31st ------------------ Beginners Guide to Astrology IP: Logged |

^ Heh. It's gotta be an exact conjunction though, otherwise they still get two distinct birthdays, but just close to each other...My second birthday's on May 25. Weather's usually nicer than in November. IP: Logged |

I've got a great idea guys. Our solar birthday isn't enough so let's make one up out of a transit.

Funny question to read at the moment to read it.However a completely correct answer to a different 2nd birthday. I always consider the accurately interpolated return chart of the progressed Sun. In other words at what time o day on your progression date is T sun exactly conjunct progressed Sun Thus every year that 2nd birthday is a day later. The one you refer to is generally a nice transit, for me anyway 23-24 Libra(10-17.18. The above one I refer to holds a 2nd key to YOUR personal year. check it out sometime my 1/2 cent Oct 31 15 132327 ------------------ LeekingChee IP: Logged |

Yeah I've been thinking about that. Are solar return charts not generated for the actual time of t.Sun conjunct natal Sun? How... silly...? There must be a reason for this...?

Well yes they are with 1 exception. The use or precession. astro.com does not offer such. I am referring to the progressed sun and in such case I do not use precession. different info to be seen. Suppose you get your progressed sun position to " of arc by progressing to noon or your birthtime on progressed birthdate. Then do an ingress chart for that date in the current year and it is 13 hours different. redo the first until you move that tiny difference. then create two ingress charts to same solar point, one in birth year and one in current year > view the two as many ways are there are but definitely in a bi-wheel. what planets have the sun as midpoint in both tells a story in planetary pictures ------------------ LeekingChee IP: Logged |

The one you refer to is a valid tool as well but often we do not know how accurate are our birth times. I just looked at the sun at my relocated asc(within 1* of natal) for this year and it had Uranus just risen and yes I have had to deal a with a few quick changes lately. ------------------ LeekingChee IP: Logged |

Scoff if you like, but the week or two around October 23rd, things happen, as the sun usually is dragging Mercury and Venus through my Asc in its wake, things like writing horrible run-on sentences, apparently... IP: Logged |

Cool idea! When I saw the thread topic, I thought you might be mentioning - the conception date - and the birth date - as being the *two* days of significance. But most of us would have no way of knowing our exact conception date anyway. This is a cuter idea haha My Ascendant birthday would be June 21st or 22nd IP: Logged |

I thought about this after my birthday 7/17. My Sun is in Cancer 12, and my birthday always involves isolating myself, contemplation, and transformation. Absolutely NO birthday parties EVER. A surprise party would give me a panic attack....then Leo season rolls around and I'm calling all the people I snuffed in July. I just wanna talk and hang out and make fun trouble. My second bday is 8/8. Nice. I also just realized why my cuzo has always had a crush on me. Her 1st bday is my 2nd bday. tmi. tmi.IP: Logged |
