Hello!I have to confess I don't particularly know what Chiron represents in a natal chart, but I seem to remember it has some significance in synastry. Just been looking at some synastries and noticed Chiron conjunct Mars in a couple of sexual ones. Any idea what this means? IP: Logged |

the magis use it and i think it's supposed to be magical and healing according to them but i haven't looked at their stuff in a loooooooong time. i have venus (his) conjunct chiron (mine) with a guy (exact, and his sun too, at 2 degs) and i'm interested too. it's supposed to be healing but also potentially wounding. but chiron in general sort of confuses me. That's a really interesting and informative link. But there's one thing that's not covered... Chiron conj. Chiron!Might have to do a bit of research about what Chiron stands for. IP: Logged |

Who here is happy with their Chiron and what it represents in their chart? I'd be interested to see that.Or is it more like a wound that stays wounded always. Who can help others in the same realm that they absolutely cannot for themselves. The answer to those for the individual would say something about its impact in synastry. IP: Logged |

It represents what we have carried as a wound since childhood. For example, I have Chiron in Cancer, and my mother wounded me very badly. Its a subject that Im sensitive about. But with the wound, I have impeccable healing abilities when it comes to Cancer problems in life. I can be a very influential child therapist because I understand on a very deep level what children need in order to be the best they can be in life. God put me on this earth to help children. So Chiron is a wound, that later in life turns into a remarkable gift for you to give back to the world. IP: Logged |

Chiron is not a pleasant little bugger. I don't know where they got healing from, except that you have to be hurt in order to heal. I dread chiron like I dread the quincunx. Two worst things. The magi's were off on this, imo.
I'm still trying to figure out how it works in synastry. I have the sun/chiron conjunction with someone, with me being chiron. I feel we've both hurt one another, but I think I got hurt more -- everyone thinks that though, don't they? I don't have a tob on him, so I don't which house his sun is in. We're still friends, so maybe I'll figure out how it works eventually. IP: Logged |

I have my Venus exactly conjunct someones Chiron in synastry.I understand how Chiron works in synastry very well... So I will try to explain this. The first thing to know about Chiron, is that its an area of life where you cannot cover anything up or make things seem superficial. This is where I feel Magi Astrology came up with Chiron leading to the soul mate, because we are intended to share every aspect of our psyche with our soul mate, and with Chiron, that is what happens. There is nothing you can hide when it comes to the planet aspecting the others Chiron... In my case, his Chiron on my Venus. Now this is a very special case. Intuitivley, I can see that this was meant for me in this life. He was meant to hurt me, but I don't see it as something bad or wrong. I feel that he is still a good person. My Venus is Rx. It went direct when I was 5 years old. However, it did not leave the degree it was Rx on until a few years before I met him. Perfect timing? I'd say. I see this as God's way of making sure I have all my LOVE saved up for this individual. Which is so true. I felt this person long before I met him... So we met, I feel madly in love in an instant, and he hurts me, and he knows it. This connection is something unreal at times. So I think Chiron in synastry represents past life mistakes. I feel, deep inside that I hurt him very badly in a past life. I think I died actually I had this realization a long time ago. Sigh. IP: Logged |

Perhaps study all relationships that have a 25.5 year age gap. Parent/child; teacher/student; doctor/patient; healer/client; etc.IP: Logged |

This is all fascinating.raspberri, I have Chiron in Cancer (in 7th house). I would say my mum has had quite a big impact on me growing up, positively and negatively... I wouldn't say I'm wounded as such. What are other Cancer related problems? I wouldn't say I am especially skilled with children, but I do enjoy hearing people's problems and helping if I can, if that counts as one? Perhaps whatever my wound is has yet to be transformed into a gift. What you're saying about your Venus-Chiron conj. is also very interesting. Do you know much about how Chiron aspects other planets? Diana, are you talking about Chiron retrograde (if that's possible? see, I really know nothing about Chiron haha) or Chiron in natal charts? Think I may also have to research quincunx... Geocosmic Valentine, is 25.5 years the time it takes for Chiron to travel halfway through the signs? IP: Logged |

Well to go further with Chiron in Cancer we have to look at your Moon sign and the aspects it makes to determine how badly your mother hurt you or if it was something else about home.IP: Logged |

Okay, my Moon's in Aries in 2nd house and squares my Chiron and Ascendant (maybe Saturn and Uranus too).Do you know how Chiron conjunct Mars would differ from conjunct. Venus? I really want to know if it's this aspect which makes the relationships I'm looking at similar, but I never knew how much of an influence Chiron could have before. IP: Logged |

Chiron's influence is a big deal. With Mars, it would make Chiron's energy hard to ignore or hide. How is Mars aspected?

No, I was talking about my chiron on someone's sun. Chiron does turn rx, and it just was recently, it's direct again. The quincunx is a very difficult aspect. IP: Logged |

raspberri, n the two cases I'm looking at 1) has the man's Chiron almost exactly conjunct the woman's Mars in Gemini in his 7th house and her 4th, in opposition to his Moon in Sagittarius 2)has the man's Mars conjunct the woman's Chiron in Cancer in his 6th house and her 7th and aspects nothing in the rest of either of their placementsDiana, thanks, I was just wondering because you said "I dread Chiron", so I sort of presumed you meant some kinda transit. Interesting how Chiron seems able to bring about some very different kind of things, good and bad. IP: Logged |
