Ok, so I was wondering. If venus is Virgo 29' 0", would I interpret it as Virgo or Libra?? Or both?

in virgo. the very first and last degrees of any sign are critical.

So would the type of indecision would be influenced by the sign, or in this case Virgo?

raixofxsunshine...the planet would be Venus...the feminine principle of drawing in people and things like money. It's attracting, attraction, love, beauty, harmony, affection, etc.

Virgo can be a bit of a tough placement for Venus generally, as Virgo tends to hold back too much and be too critical. Venus rules Libra, and Virgo and Libra are semi-sextile...the energies don't flow well together. The critical degree I'm sure won't help with this.

But all is not lost. Look for beneficial aspects between Venus and sympathetic planets. Look to see if you have harmonious planets in Leo or Libra. Also what's going on in your 5th & 7th houses? Which house is Venus placed in?

The latter is important generally, but with a critical degree probably more so. The house indicates where in your life the impact will be, and should also indicate where the indecision will lie.

Mcmlxix, sadly, I don't know the house placement. A friend of mine has the aspect and birthtime is unknown.

But trust me, I know how how Venus in Virgo can be, I've got it, too.

I've Jupiter in a critical point, by the looks of it, but that's not my main focus at the moment.

Also what's going in in Taurus. Venus rules here too.

PS...it's too bad about not knowing the time/place of birth. I think houses are overlooked (aspects seem to be given more weight) but very important especially with the outer planets.

U have strong virgo venus. Had ur venus been on 0 degree u could have it managed both virgo and libra way... With 0 degree u need consciousness,motivation,goals to make it work,and when u work it's like magic. With 29th karma gives u accumulated energy which is a roller by itself.
Of course,u have progression,which acts practically immediately with 29th degree,but that shouldn't be confused with inherited qualities.
