Hello lovely Knowflakes,
While I have been an avid amature astrologer since I was 11, I have never found anything in any of my books about how to perform chart rectification. Can anyone help?? If you have any resources that would aid me in figuring out how to perform this complicated process, I would very much appreciate it!

Hi
It's quite a long process as you need to know exact dates of major events in your life. eg: Birth of a younger sibling, Major family moves, Major illnesses, Surgery, Accidents, Graduation, Marriage, Birth of your own children, Divorce, Change of career; start of a new job or promotion or the date you were fired from a job, Death of a family member, Any other dates which are important to you for whatever reason. For birth chart rectification you need the day, month, year and location of each event.

There is a software program called Jigsaw that does retifications - again you'd need to know dates of major changes in your life. The program then calculates your birth time by working out the transits etc
I've never used Jigsaw myself so I can't really say how good it is as a program.

Hey Cat, thank you for the information! At least I now know that, if I can't learn how to recify a chart myself, there's a program out there that will do it for me! LOL
