Hello!

I was wondering if any of you awesome folks may have any insights into this synastry?

This is my husband and I and we are falling apart. I have been trying so hard to find where things went wrong and wth is happening...but things are reaching the boiling point. One of the most difficult aspects I see is his Saturn squaring my Venus. I read something about this on this forum a while back and it describes our relationship perfectly. He is restrictive and I am free spirited...and if I am correct Saturn would be his chart ruler and Venus mine making it a bit worse perhaps? Thanks in advance to anyone who may have some ideas.

Yes,Saturn could be the culprit; He probably hasn't mastered his Saturnian side- and u'd be stuck with lower Saturn type- cold, oppressive towards u,deflecting, avoiding responsability. Saturn is also opposing Moon. No easy aspect with Moon,Venus,Mars.
I had examples where Saturn/personal planets contats r of the best kind, even hard ones.
And-great observation for chart rulers! I agree.

Venus -

Thank you for pointing out the Saturn and Moon opposition. I looked this up and found the description very fitting! Basically saying that in the long run I could emotionally censor myself by fearing his disapproval or him being cold and unsympathetic and will result in us emotionally isolating ourselves. Its gotten to the point that I feel like he doesnt really see me, and I am starting to realize he never did. You are very right in your description of his saturn side...he is responsible but he is not good at expressing his emotions, and he has zero tolerance lately for my playful, artistic nature and he is absolutly terrified by any form of my independence. I realized today also that I am currently going through a venus opposition venus transit...and it is alot of fun...meh. The hits keep on coming.

Thanks for your response!!

Wow good guess! He has Venus square Pluto...Venus in cancer in the 7th and Pluto in Libra in the 11th.

Oh,I wasn't guessing, doll,I saw it in chart, just,I wondered whether they r in the orb for aspect.
They r control-freaks. They shape their partner by their own model. With H10 Venus-partner is often idealised, one has to keep appearance, and distance and to seem that one is always slightly out of reach. Probably sth dstroyed ur image of him.
If he has Sun sq Saturn,he may always be discontent student, failing to get ahead. Very strict,rigid- retentive. U r both having Saturn return,he has it already,if not over,it's good time, decisions made during this time r definitive and good starting point for the future.

Also, most of the outer planets are activating the Grandcross in your synastry so its not surprising that alot of these issues are coming to a head now.

Glad to hear that now is a good time to make these decisions This saturn return has been extremly rough for me and it seems to have made him even more cold and restrictive than usual!

Thanks for the info about the outer planets hitting our synastry...I havent looked at that and it sounds like I need to check it out! Cause things are just spinning out of control at this point.
