Im a Pisces Asc My mom was in labor with me for 3 days (so Im stubborn, and wasnt ready yet) I was also considered a preemie, my mom wasnt due for a month.. When the doctors checked me, my lungs were fully developed and I was fine.. My mom said they prob just messed up on the due date Also my mom never told my dad she was pregnant, so he didnt know AT ALL... (until I was 25) So Neptune confusion and deception. My daughter Aries Asc.. I went to the hospital, they told me I wasnt in labor.. I was only 2 centimeters dilated. I was sent home.. I went back 2 hours later when they checked me I was in full labor 8 centimeters.. And was immediately rushed into the delivery room.. Waiting for the doctor to get there (it was 4am) I started pushing as the doctor was parking his car.. Very fast labor.. Total 4 hours.. Including the time, when they said I wasnt in labor.. My Son Leo Asc.. I was 2 weeks over due, I went to the hospital at 6am on Mon so they could induce labor... To everyones amazement.. NOTHING WORKED... They were scratching their heads... They did an IV, some sort of stick... Etc etc.. Yet nothing.. No contractions nothing.. The next morning at 10 the doctor said Ok.. Im going to break you water and if that doesnt work, then we will have to do a c-section... Within 10mins I had major contractions... All the pain was unbearable... They hit me so hard and so fast... They gave me some pain killer, and it knocked me out... I woke up 2 hrs later in extreme pain... Unexplained... 100000000x worse than my daughter. Then all of a sudden all kinds of alarms were going off, and 10 people doctors, nurses ran into the room... And started yelling at me... PUSH NOW..PUSH NOW... tHE BABY HAS TO COME OUT RIGHT NOW... I was confused.. I dont understand.. Whats going on... They said the babys heart rate dropped to (20 beats a min OR something like that) (the alarm's going off) and the baby has to come out right NOW!!! PUSH PUSH PUSH NOW NOW NOW NOW.... He was then born about 5mins later... Sun.. So the drama, and the big scene.. IP: Logged |

I was a very large, very healthy baby (eleven pounds). Overall, my mom said the birthing was easy and orderly, with little complications. I dunno if that's Virgo-y or not. My Cancer friend has a Scorpio rising, and she wasn't born until all the family members and friends had left for dinner. Then, she crept out. A nurse came just in time to assist in the half-born babbeh. She waited until no one was around to make her entrance to the world... IP: Logged |

It's funny what you said about your Leo AC son. My Leo AC bro also didn't want to come out. My mother mentioned doctors poking in there and eventually had to break her water. He came out with a bruised eyelid and his head had what she said looked like finger indents. ------------------ "The better you feel about yourself, the less you feel the need to show off." — Robert Hand "Cynicism, like gullibility, is a symptom of underdeveloped critical faculties." — Jamie Whyte "I am not absentminded. Im libra asc and i was supposed to be born around christmas. WELL i wasn't born till the end of capricorn! I shouldn't have stayed in the womb for so long. I was in 'distress' i think, and i wasn't coming out after long labor and was c-sectioned. Then i went home a few days later. Not the beautiful birth yu'd expect from such a good placement hahaIP: Logged |

Hmm, I don't know. My mom had a hard time when pregnant with me as she had lost a couple of fetuses before me, I guess I had to fight my way in the queue, lol! I seriously think I would be gone too as a simple fix with mom's problem was not known back then (it's a routine thing nowadays) and mom had to spend 9months bedridden just out of fear of losing me. I have Mars conj Asc and Chiron in Aries. No scars but yeah I am a fighter and a survivor on many levels. My Sag sun translates into love for life. That is not to say that life is rosy (not with a Mars on the Asc anyway) but a girl can dream! IP: Logged |

I have a Virgo Ascendant with Saturn conjunct Ascendant in the 1st house. I was a premature birth, I was supposed to be born in November. My late mother's birthday is 3 days after mine, I guess I wanted to be close to her. After I was born, I had to spend two weeks in an incubator before I was eventually taken home.------------------ 9/19/1980 6:43am CST Chicago, Illinois Don't just see the light, be the light. :) IP: Logged |

I've had 6 kids and I can't say that any of their asc match their entries into the world. However, I did have a weird labour with my youngest, she has a moon/uranus opp like me and when I was going into labour the electrics went in the house(seriously) and I was panicking because it had to be fixed before I could go to hospital. The guy turned up within an hour and sorted it quickly. My contractions would be really strong and then nothing.....even up until delivery I'd get no pain at all inbetween contractions when usually it gets to the point where it's pretty constant. The other mad thing was the length of her umbilical cord ~ ya coulda used it as a lasso yet my daughter who has Moon/Pluto opp, her umbilical cord was so short that the midwife couldn't get her onto my stomach! I do have a Scorp asc and my arrival was hidden from view to a large extent and my Nep is in the 1st and mum was heavily drugged when she delivered me. IP: Logged |

I have two friends who gave birth fairly recently. Both had Scorpio Rising children and both involved a c-section due to umbilical cords wrapped around the baby's neck. My friend's second kid is a Libra rising and came out VBAC with no problems.I'm a Sag rising and my mother was in labor for about 23 hours and I was born 3 days late. My sister is a Libra rising and she was born 2 days early and pretty much popped out quickly and easily. IP: Logged |

According to my mom, I was a very easy birth. I don't think it took more than a few hours; natural birth w/o epidural (I was also her second child). I was born right on time, I think just a day late or something like that. But I was sick in the hospital for a week after my birth. Some sort of issue with my mom's blood and mine. I don't really remember the whole story, but I know I was jaundice that first week or two of my life. So I was a little unusual looking due to being jaundice lol--I'm an Aqua ascendant. IP: Logged |

I am Scorpio Asc. By birth was premature. My Mom felt down on stairs and 24 hours later I was born. I was less than 5 pounds. and was very sickly until age 1. People thought I will definitely die. Well.. I did not. My grandmother gave me my name: Victoria because I survived against all odds My Daughter is Sag Asc and Sun Scorpio. I was induced because we failed non stress test. I went thought natural birth 23 hours), but I could not push her out. I developed temperature and the doctors had to perform emergency C-section. Well... THANK GOD. When they did C-Section they saw I had internal bleeding. They stopped it on time. I was sick for about 6 months after the birth but Here I am 16 months later, ALIVE and HEALTHY

What you can look at is planets conj Asc. I know of a case with pluto conj Asc where the baby needed resusitated and almost died.Planets in 12th conj asc can *sometimes* show mother's trauma, accidents or psychology. On Children Kahlil Gibran quote: Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself. They come through you but not from you, And though they are with you yet they belong not to you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts, For they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls, For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams. http://www.katsandogz.com/onchildren.html

Capricorn Ascendant describes my birth. I was born 2 months premature, and the water broke 9 days before I was born. I had to stay in the premature unit for 5 days in an incubator before transferring to another hospital (where my parents were already living). At the second hospital, I had to be in another incubator and under observation for a month before I can finally go home.IP: Logged |

pisces ascmy mom didn't even know she was having me til she got up to go to the bathroom, and looked down and saw the top of my head...so yeah, i was born at home. i think i was only born about a week early, but i was such a tiny baby that i fit into all the preemie baby clothes. At the hospital, the nurses almost confused me with another baby (the only other one there with black hair), and luckily my parents and the other girl's parents noticed. hehehe I had a lot of health problems and had two surgeries when i was about 1, one for my ears (tubes) and one for my mouth which meant that i couldn't breast-feed for a really long time and had to be tube-fed. maybe asc opposite moon had something to do with that? That's interesting.. My Cap AC brother was also 7 months premature. There's a pic of him inside a incubator I posted in KTAA (baby pic thread). Gemini RisingWhen my head started to pop out of my mom, my 3 and a half yr old sister, was like "I better unwrap her present!" and started opening it. It's a pale purple telephone rattle, that had little yellow ducks on them. I still have it somewhere. I think she might of even held the telephone rattle near my head. lmfao! My mom was on antibiotics for some reason. (and at the time was not educated that taking yogurt prevented yeast infections when taking antibiotics.) So I was born with a yeast infection in my mouth. Gee, thanks a lot mom! But I think that's kind of neat how I got a telephone rattle since Gemini is the sign of communicating. And an eager sibling waiting for me. Sounds like a pretty Gemini rising birth. Mom said I was also an early talker. btw my mom and sister are also Gemini risings. So not only was my dad in a house with 3 females. But also a Scorpio rising surrounded by Gemini risings! haha IP: Logged |

I am a Pisces ASC. I was a birthing nightmare. I was two weeks overdue. I was breached. My mom was a small woman at 5 feet 3 inches. She was healthy and was not diabetic. She did not have wide hip bones. I was 11 pounds 8 ounces! The size of a two month old. Naturally, I was a C-Section baby, especially for an East Asian. IP: Logged |

My daughter is a Sag rising. (leo sun)Went in to labour on my due date, she was born 4 days later.....but it was a natural birth and I pushed her out very quickly after 92 hours of hell. I'm a Cap rising (Cancer sun) and my mum went in to labour and had me with 8 hours. very quick. But I was 2 and a half weeks overdue. No problems apart from the umbilical cord was wrapped around my neck 3 times. IP: Logged |
