What astrological influence is there in this. I have had girls who have cut my name into their body.

Hmm, affliction between Venus (beauty/attraction), Saturn (rules skin, apparently), and Pluto (obsession)? Don't forget a pinch of good ol' Emotionally Disturbed...

Oh, well that's different. I was thinking of girls cutting their names into their body like with razors or knives. A tattoo is just a tattoo, albeit just as intrusive. You should really clarify that to avoid inciting an unsuitable reaction as the topic title is misleading...

Well these girls use shards of glass and razors. It is the same as a tattoo.

So it's not a professional tattoo... A tattoo by definition is not just the puncturing of skin but also the insertion of ink into the dermis. They're basically scarring your name onto their body.

Either way, yes - I would call that a bit emotionally disturbed...

AstroMan -

In K's case it was Mars/Pluto conjunction. You both have this. Hers is Scorpio and yours is Libra.

Angelina Jolie has Mars opp Pluto.

I find Mars/Pluto in negative aspect violent towards both themselves and others.

I have Venus/Pluto opp but *this* is not my cup of tea. I like sensual pain... Not just pain for its own sake, with no real rhyme or reason.

It's safe to say that if I do not get sexual pleasure out of it (Venus) - nothing Plutonian will happen.

Mars/Pluto is different.. because they don't actually *think* as much. Mars is all instinct. Whereas Venus has a detached/intellectual side.

PS. The Libra conjunction has a Venusian feel, so it's not quite so instinctual.

http://www.judiciaryreport.com/angelina_jolie_obsession_with_blood.htm

quote:
Hollywood actress, Angelina Jolie, was once called mentally ill by her dad. The revelations pouring out of the forthcoming Andrew Morton book "Angelina" confirm it. For example, Jolie married actor, Johnny Lee Miller and wrote his name in blood, on the inside of her wedding dress, in the twisted belief, it would seal their marriage and he would never leave her. The union ended in divorce, due to Jolie's mental illness and bizarre behavior.

Her second husband was another actor, Billy Bob Thornton. She carried around his blood in a vial, dangling from a chain around her neck, which disturbed many people. She was known as Hollywood's weird one, willing to do anything sexually or in a sinister fashion. As a result, she was used by many men and women in Hollywood for sex, such as Leonardo DiCapprio and William DeFoe, to name a few.

Beginning in her teens, Jolie frequently cut herself, as a way to release tension, indicating her blood obsession has been a prevalent theme in her life. Such conduct denotes unresolved psychological issues and mental illness.

I disagree with all the added judgments in this article.. but I do believe the 'cutting herself' part is accurate.

It's not just girls. It's also guys with Mars/Pluto in harsh aspect... and it's not just -cutting-.. It can be any number of taboo or violent things.
Not everyone goes there though.. But I think the potential is higher with these aspects.

Here's another article:

quote:
Angelina Jolie has revealed she was sexually active in kindergarten, saying she took her clothes off and 'made out' with boys.
The 31-year-old said: 'I was a member of a group called the Kissy Girls. I was very sexual in kindergarten.
'I created a game where I would kiss the boys and give them cooties.'
'Then we would make out and we would take our clothes off. I got in a lot of trouble!'
Jolie, who once publicly shared a lingering kissing with her own brother, James Haven, after her Oscar's victory for Girl Interrupted in 2000, also spoke openly about her fetish of using knives during sex, saying it first developed as a teenager.
The Tomb Raider stars, who lost her virginity at the age of 14, revealed she used to cut her boyfriend with a knife after sex because it 'wasn't enough'.

I think what she says about it - is very Mars/Pluto..

quote:
Speaking to OK! magazine she added: 'I had started having sex with my boyfriend and the sex and the emotions didn't feel enough.
'I was no longer a little girl. In a moment of wanting to feel closer to my boyfriend I grabbed a knife and cut him. He cut me back.'
'We had an exchange of something and we were covered in blood, my heart was racing. Then whenever I felt trapped, I'd cut myself. I have a lot of scars.'
'It was an age when I felt adventurous and after a few beers things happened.'

The fact that she didn't feel *close* enough... very Plutonian.

I agree about the Mars/Pluto thing.

I have the conjunction and I used to cut.

I hope I won't offend anyone with this, but I tend to think so yes. Tattoos are permanent, and tattooing the name of someone on your skin, someone who is not in any way related or genetically linked to you, creates a permanent connection based on the premise that this person will be around forever.

Experience tells us that this is never the case, so someone who has the name of a boyfriend tattooed on them without even knowing for sure he's going to stick around, to me, screams emotional dependancy. Which is kind of disturbed seeing as it comes from an UNfounded belief that the boyfriend will stick around. Not to mention those kind of girls are more likely to do crazy things to keep that boyfriend with them and have the illusion that it is the be all and end all of life, while there are tons more important things in life.

Of course, it is not that bad that such girls have to get treatment for it, but if you think about it: what is someone thinking when they have a permanent reminder put on their body of a relationship which wasn't even guaranteed to succeed? (Says the woman who has a permanent reminder of a relationship she never even wanted to succeed but a tattoo is different from an unexpected pregnancy though; you plan having a tatt )

So Mars/Pluto in harsh aspect would make you cut?
Would Venus /Pluto conjunct do it,I wonder?
I know someone with this who cut.
I will have to check out what else Pluto could be doing.
That could make this like a harsh Mars /Pluto square if Pluto or Mars had enough afflictions.
Do you guys agree with my reasoning?
