This is the first time i've checked my natal transit chart on astro.com, and i saw that Pluto is currently rolling through a stellium that i have on my ascendant.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/341/astro24gw01chrisooms201.gif/

Ive read that pluto transits can be intense, i'm 22 right now and these pluto conjunctions will last until almost my 30s, and at about 30 my saturn will pass my ascendant and meet up with pluto. Right now Pluto is conjunct Uranus, soon it will conj. asc + neptune -> saturn -> mercury -> venus nonstop.

I'm wondering what could i expect from this Pluto transit?

I'd also love to hear from people whove been through Pluto crossing over the Asc transits as I'll have one coming up in a few years.

Chris, I hope it goes well for you. Sorry, I have no personal experince yet.

I'd love to hear from others whove been there, too though..

It's a pretty major transit.

I'm going to have this transit when I'm 72

T pluto conj uranus and neptune are simply generational. By that I mean we all go through them as a maturing experience. Now with uranus being in the 12th, I doubt whether you will feel or notice this one.

Houses: angular houses 1/7 4/10 the energies of planets placed here are obvious cos it's your 'shop window' visible for everyone to see. Next the succeedent houses 2/8 & 5/11 the energies in these houses are not in shop window the are in the shop, but stood behind the counter, ready to come out when needed. Lastly, cadent houses 6/12 & 3/9 these houses/planets are not in shop window or stood behind the counter, they are in the back storeroom and only come out when 'triggered' or an emergency and much harder to recognise and access...

The houses are like the backdrop of a stage, the setting if you like, the planets are like actors and the aspects are how the planets behave in that settings/stage....So remember you may find it harder to identify with planets and Saturn in this case in Cadent houses….

Now ALL transits simply act as background influences until they make contacy with a planet or Angle ie: Asc or MC. Next look at the *aspects* Ascendent receives, and trine exalted moon Taurus is the closest. I would ignore jupiter opp Asc as being too wide. Max I would allow are 8' therefore I tend to reduce down the aspect orb ratio down to 85% on astro.

"This is a time when you will have a more profound understanding of your personal life. Because of this, it is a good time to get rid of emotional baggage that you have held onto. You are more aware of the feelings of others and how they affect you. On a mundane level, this is a good time to get rid of useless items in your home through a garage sale. You memory may be sharper and more intense now than usual." http://www.astrology-x-files.com/transits/pluto-tr-moon.html

o transits sextile or trine the Moon

"During this time period relationships deepen and grow, and penetrate to a very personal level. This process is sometimes initiated by you and sometimes initiated by the other person, but in either case it leads to a much deeper understanding and bond between you." http://cafeastrology.com/plutotransits.html

So when T Pluto gets to Asc it's along transit of around 18months, then you would look at the quicker moving transits like mercury and mars in particular to fill in blanks..

So next, look at where scorpio/pluto rules which is MC. So when T Pluto gets ot Asc, your career, social life, what you are known for and your outward mode of expression (Asc) will be in accord and uniform.

So when T Pluto gets to natal Neptune this is usually a revision of one's religious and spiritual beliefs.
When T Pluto gets to mercury, would be a good time for study, research and ananlysis.

I use Equal House system (where each cusp is same as Ascendant) and am a modern astrologer. Lots of newcomers come into Astrology/forums and get a free chart from astro and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few others if you wish to experiment…..

Within the mainstream are placidus/equal houses (the default on astro is placidus) only difference being some planets may move from one house to another thereby altering it's interpretation and it's 'only' with research will you find which /planets 'fit you' in which houses. So my advice, do two charts, research any planets that move houses and see which you identity with - simple

Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAwGtMWl4z4

So when t Pluto gets to saturn, may well be a time of hard work, responsibility (Saturn) and great determinations, poss power struggles and personal ambitions. So this may well be a good time to start a business, apply for promotion.

As neptune is closest to your Asc it will modify the way you present yourself to others. People could see you as a soft touch, overly sensistive maybe.

Neptune in lst House – angular house
Should try to avoid alcohol and drugs. Often have an air of mystery about you. Indicates a sensitive intuitive awareness of yourself and your environment. Highly impressionable. Certainly artistic and a great appreciation of music. Dreamy innocent look drift off when talking! Dissatisfied with appearance in some way ie; manner, looks. Sometime appear to live in world of own. Idealist. Physical appearance probably something you don't care for. People may often say to you look at me when I'm talking to you! Can daydream with eyes wide open. Neptunian illnesses movements affected will walk funny at least with one foot. (twine toed as small child or when first walking ) Mysterious allergies on skin or where obvious, and suddenly disappear.

Saturn in first usualy knocks ones confidence espec in childhod and teenage years..

Saturn in the 1st house
Gives the willpower to finish off jobs. You may take life and yourself seriously, but with dignity. Good sense of justice and will be able to lead others and make plans for them.
You will seldom speak or act without a definite purpose. You make a loyal friend. Always want value for money. Never get fat or drunk because of pride. Don't like throwing things away. May well be a horder. If Saturn is conjunct the Ascendant the birth could have been difficult one: the soul was reluctant to come in. This position gives early maturity: the person is born "old" and gets younger in attitude as he grows older.Shy and introverted. Makes an early start in life. Needs to cultivate self confidence and a sense of their own worth. Ability to work hard and through determination, persistence and self-control can achieve success in life. Early life was probably austere and disciplined and not apt to have a feeling of being loved in the early part of life. There can be great deal of selfishness and self-centredness if Saturn is afflicted. Instinctively conservative and sensitive to the restrictions of authority and their environment. Some meet failure at every turn, while others achieve success by sheer hard work and dedication. To succeed they need to develop a sense of inner authority and ¬self discipline.

Your sun is a singleton and apex for common T Square. So sun square moon shows divorce parents and sun square pluto shows problems with father and men and will seriously modify the way you sun expresses. So the Aquariusness will be altered to be more like scorpio/pluto

"Sun square Pluto
A square formed between the Sun and Pluto shows a tendency for willfulness to build up in your nature. As the pressures become greater, you are apt to explode. This may be a puzzlement to those around you because most of the time you are so self-restrained and in perfect control. Perhaps there is a frustrated ambition for power and authority. This is an aspect often associated with a "revolutionary spirit." There is an enigma in your personality, and you are defensive about forming close emotional ties. You have executive ability and the talent for managing ambitious enterprises. You must learn the art of compromise if you are striving to get far in life. This may not come easily for you unless it is shown elsewhere in the chart. With compromise and understanding of the egos of others, this is a power aspect." http://www.skyscript.co.uk/sunaspects.html#suspl

overall your chart shows someone who is very subjective and with only one planet above the horizon and the majority in first quadrant, says to me that you are more concerned with your own 'inner life' rather than being 'out there'

In Equal house your sun would be 2nd house.Your venus is retrograde and afflicted conj Saturn.

North Node in Aquarius 2nd house conj sun suggests in this lifetime your Lessons are connected to men, authority figures and developing your own personal beliefs and values 2nd house as opposed to 8th house being other peoples' values and beliefs. so in air to learn about communications and friendships, freedom and independence -- all Aquarian traits.

chiron in 7th shows where we receive subconscious wounds and need healing. So this could suggest you may be good at giving advice to friends and family on relationships but not great at sorting your own out?

hope this helps?

I had this transit when I was in high school. I have Uranus conjunct my ascendant so Pluto hit both, obviously. The only thing that stands out besides general high school growing pains and teen angst was admitting to myself that I was gay and beginning the coming out process.

Pluto entered my 1st house around 2001. Pluto transits coming to end in 1st house and can't wait to go to 2nd house as I do need transformation in my 2nd.I can already feel that. 4 more degrees and it would be in 2nd house.

Recent Pluto transits I realized to respect my ownself and be true to my Scorpio nature. Although I am Scorpio, I was the person who was so busy pleasing everyone and had taken so much **** from other people. Pluto transits has nothing else but put me where I should be is respect myself, my dreams and ambitions first. This was extremely difficult for me.It has also helped me to know that it is ok to have differences among people and not seeing in black and white.

It nowhere doesn't mean that I do not respect other people, habits and relationship.
It has definitely made me learn how not to waste my energy on people who don't care. Be bit more careful. Saturn has influence here as well.

I have been taught how to stand up for myself. It has pushed me to achieve more than others and still be sure of myself even though it seems impossible.

That doesn't mean if there is power play then I haven't given up power. I have been more than happy to play dead when there is a bear around.

While Pluto conjunct Neptune in my 1st, it was definitely wake up call to follow my dreams. The most strongest and toughest one. It shattered my life and I had lot of pain, went through series of emotions. I have feel victim but at the same time very brave.

It is true that people do come during transits whom you recognize as the planets.

I can say one thing that I have only started living life after pluto was transiting my ascendant and 1st. Before that I don't remember anything major happening. Lots has happen in during this time and I have achieved lots.

Frank Sinatra - That's life song sums it up all.

Transiting Saturn is conjuncting my natal pluto and all I can say is I have really had issues with elder family members and authority. I was unable to set rules with them and I have been able to do now. It is better not to feel fatigued by other people's needs and be verbal of your own needs.
