I don't see this as having much to do with astrology. Things to consider:One, many men are encouraged to go after what they want and are prepared for (sometimes even excited by) conflict, competition, and risk so that men would be more likely to act as a stalker and feel less ashamed to do so (one stalker I knew was surprised how threatening women found it, he thought the women he stalked would be flattered). I wonder how much the "hunter instinct" many men are supposed to have also play a part. And I don't even want to think about how "rape culture" encourages this. Women are much more likely to report it because we tend to be a lot more afraid by it and also have less inhibition than men to seek help. (Men being much more likely to resort to violence as well as being larger only encourages this.) Men are less likely to report it because they tend to find it more of a nuisance than a menace (even when a female stalker becomes violent she's more inclined to attack other women who come around her obsession than the man himself), and even when they do become frightened many men are expected to "suck it up" and admitting to being afraid for his safety from a woman can make asking for help especially humiliating. So all in all I'd say that it's not so much astrology as it is society encouraging certain behaviors in respective genders that encourage men to go after what they want (while women are supposed to attract rather than go after) and men are more likely to be reported when they do, and men are also more likely to resort to ultimate frustration with a gun or other violence (and thus getting on the news where a stalking woman who leaves a thousand messages, shadows, FB stalks, and the like isn't newsworthy enough, and even when it does make the news it's usually her doing something like breaking into his home and ironing his clothes), all of which would give the illusion that men stalking women is rampant but not the reverse. There is recent genetic research predicting people like that.I watched a research documentary on the MAO gene which has been discovered in most violent criminals, who were all murderers but included stalkers and rapists. In a blind trial, the brain researcher discovered that certain brain patterns identify certain disorders, like schizophrenia and also homicidal people. He then ran genetic tests on people on death row with that same homicidal brain same, and found that all without fail had the MAO Warrior gene. Digging deeper, and researching people not on death-row and with no criminal record he found that 'upstanding' members of society had the gene too - including himself! They then dug further to find out what differentiated the expression of that gene and found a direct link to childhood trauma made it highly likely a MAO warrior gene carrier would stalk, rape or murder - i.e. offend. Those with lovely childhoods (safe, loving, nurturing) lived following social norms that preserved life. It would interesting to see if there was any similarity in the horoscopes of all carriers of the MAO gene. Any predictors... like there are for sports super stars. -C.B.

Men greatly outnumber women regarding violent crime. So i imagine that fact alone has much to do with the higher probability of a man stalking a women versus a woman stalking a man.Men tend to turn their energy 'outwardly' while women tend to turn their energy 'inwardly.' Im a female with pluto conjunct sun 0* and I have never stalked anyone...though I have thought about it. I am very obsessive person. Its in libra in h 6, but I dont think libra or virgo have anything to do with stalking or sometimes even scorpio. You have to have a very strong pluto specifically and sometimes not even a scorpio sun is cut out for that.IP: Logged |

Stalking would be Nessus, Dejanira( asteroid wise) imo.
Planet wise, it would be Pluto in aspect to a person's personal planets such as Venus and the Moon imo------------------

I don't think there's an astrological reason for that. Astrology is gender neutral. Sure you can predict how certain planets in a man's chart might express themselves differently than a planet in a woman's chart, but that just has to do with nuture/nature not astrology which takes a more broad stroke.For example, mars opposite saturn might make someone more angry or violent. If it's a woman she might poison him because women are more likely to use poisons... if it's a man he's more likely to use his hands or a violent weapon. Testosterone gives more energy so men are often more violent in their methods. Astrology only says anger/violence... it doesn't get into more detail than that. A man might stalk to usher control while a woman might use manipulation. IP: Logged |

it is kind of a sexist issue because society doesn't take it seriously when women do it, but if its a man people are up in arms. I've got a married friend who is in an awkward situation at work, there's a girl who stalks and sexually harasses him at work. he has told her that he is married and faithful and she still wont leave him alone, he
even told his supervisor and
they still haven't done anything
about it and its been going on
for months. If it was a guy doing that stuff he would've been fire by now and possibly had a lawsuit on his handsIP: Logged |

Of course society doesn't take it as seriously as when a woman does it, a woman is much less likely to go postal and kill someone than a man is. Nevertheless, men also sue for sexual harassment and get support from groups that fight such harassment (usually on behalf of women), such as this example:

And on Halloween I volunteered to help redecorate an office for the Halloween Party that night and spent about 40 minutes being harassed (for example, the curtain rods come apart and so he tells me to hold mine while he inserts his rod back into it while moaning, "Oh, it feels so good!") I tolerated it off and on that long before I said calmly, "That's enough, thank you," and he pretty much instantly walked out and then one of the people who worked there--a woman (but also the guy's sister I found out later)--bawled me out for it and kicked me out for popping an "attitude" and driving him away. And plenty of people heard him harassing me and did nothing (though my friend said they were confused as we were both volunteers and not employees). I think he watches way too many porn movies for him to think I'd respond well to that (I later heard that when he left he said he wasn't going to "work with that stuck up ***** anymore" which apparently was my not being charmed by his crude flirting like some blonde ditz in a porn flick). But then I'm used to that crap. I'm just glad I found him pathetic rather than dangerous as some of the other guys I've had the misfortune to experience before. Even Rush Limbaugh understands why people take sexual harassment by men more serious and said so in one of his book (something about an ad for I think jeans featuring a woman grabbing a guy's butt, I'd say what I recall but my memory is so fuzzy that I know I'd get something wrong and someone who has the book would probably accuse me of somehow twisting his words, but I do recall he said a woman grabbing a guy's butt didn't bother men because most men wanted to be the guy in the ad). And then there's the old joke (considered "funny because it's true"): “When a man talks dirty to a woman it's sexual harassment. When a woman talks dirty to a man it's $3.95 a minute.” IP: Logged |

Your question is resolved by something deeper like DNA and genetics of the human and aminals species. Male are designed to chase, females are designed to flower themselves. A good friend of mine has Venus square Pluto in her natal chart. Men around her age have their Pluto in square aspect to her Venus. She attracts stalkers like white on rice. IP: Logged |
