I know Venus in 10th means a person would have a prominent career in a field that is very Venusian, like actor, interior decorator, make up artist, etc...but would they be seen as someone universally beautiful?IP: Logged |

Seems so. The one person I know with this placement was aiming to be Miss Universe, which is fitting for this Venus house placement in addition to it conjuncting her NN.IP: Logged |

It is mostly how they present themselves, they ooze in beautiful way, they are known for being attractive,it is their reputation that makes them so... In celebrities' it is because of their fame or legendary status... Goddesses! This is something from the link NativelyJoan shared in another thread!
quote: Venus in the 10th house is considered one of the best indicators for success. Those with Venus here want to contribute something positive and loving to the world, and pleasure comes from their career or professional life. The individual may be interested in careers that favour the arts, counselling, diplomacy, or design. They want to be recognised for their beauty, financial skills, artistic gifts, diplomatic gifts or loving nature. The person may have a good reputation for being supportive and co-operative of team efforts. The individual's people skills and ability to socialize with people of influence can help benefit them. Venus in the 10th house will enable the individual to establish an immediate rapport with others. The tenth house is concerned with honor, profession and success in life. It is one of the most important angles in the natal chart. Public relationships are significant in their lives, and the tenth house determines their motivation and push for a successful career. Sometimes the tenth house describes what the individual will do career-wise, alternatively it may signify how they approach and move towards their vocation in life. The person knows how to turn on the charm in public situations and is talented at making and maintaining contacts. Venus in the 10th house signifies that love and harmony is directed towards their ambitions, but the other side of Venus may show jealousy and rivalry. The Midheaven is the most elevated part of the horoscope and so an individual with Venus here is often considered popular in his or her public life, and they may be liked by authority figures and have a good reputation for being cooperative and supportive of team efforts. Venus here may also be attracted to partners who are accomplished in some way, older or more established, and marriage and career are closely shared. Traditional texbooks state that this person often marries above their station in life. A harmonious working life is desired, but the aspects need to be examined to see how easily this can be achieved. Venus in the 10th house often describes a loving relationship with the mother and she may be viewed as the beloved and attractive one. In some cases a daughter may have felt that she was in competition and rivalry with her mother. This postion can also favour benefits from parents. Pleasure is found in their career and they value their social image. Venus in the 10th house may represent a love and respect for structure and establishment. This person easily attracts career opportunities and likes to be admired in their chosen vocation and sometimes the vocational choice has something to do with the female sex and help and support may also come through them.

I have Venus in Pisces house 10. Trines Jupiter in house 2 Sextile Mercury Taurus house 12 Sextile Uranus st rx Capricorn house 8 Square Ascendant GeminiI did a pageant once in my small town. Ya know it was just something that sounded fun and glamorous, and was on my bucket list. I didn't win. My clothes where too plain for the fashion portion. (plus I was competing with teens when I haven't even hit puberty yet. lol I was the only one who didn't have boobs and half the time I still wore kid sizes.) But I won the talent part.(and that part was optional and didn't count for pageant title points. The girl that won didn't even do the talent portion.) And I won in the best actress portion. And I know I got a high score for the question. Cause I was comfortable and genuine with this part. And the girl that went after me copied my answer. (who won. ughhh) My answer was genuine. (was not some wold peace answer bs.) I forgot what my question was, but I said something about just putting a smile on people's faces. But the girl after me USED that phrase a lot she was like "putting a smile on people faces, ya know making people smile..." And she sounded so genuine!!...NOT!!!! UGH I was a pretty innocent 14 yr old at the time. But I was so peeved. 'WTF b!tch is trying to steal my answer! B!tch please you do not sound smart and clever. You suck!' Naw that's what I think of it nowa days but in my head back then it was more like "HOW DARE YOU!" At that middle school age...I would get so peeved if anybody copied me in the slightest way. (Must me my Aqua Mars square Scorp moon) But now of days I take it as a compliment, and find it flattering. I kinda wonder why the girl who won, won. But then one of the judges was her dance teacher. And I was an ex student of that dance teacher. But anyway. I wouldn't of been so peeved that she won...if she didn't copy my answer. I'm not saying I should of won...but her? And her gut was sticking out of her dress. Only in my town! OK pageant rant almost done! I've never ranted about it this much. LOL (I blame my energy drink!) A few months later, for a town event I was asked to perform the number I did at the pageant. And after that I had two teen girls come up to me. The even made posters for me. Like go 'my name'! They told me in person. I should of won. And they even wrote that on their poster they made. I did not even know these girls. That was pretty awesome. And the next pageant year I noticed the girl who won looked like me. Prepubescent, and brown hair, and a nice smile. And I've kept this too my self, but when I saw that news paper article I was like "yep. Trying to make up for last year I see" I swear my head isn't always this big! I can be modest too. Just not right now. lol

We need to SEE a chart please? venus alone will not bring success, we need to see how it's aspected. For example if in hard aspect to saturn, it may never bring rewards, just hard work for little money..... ------------------ I love the parable, “If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, BUT if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for life.” IP: Logged |

This doesn't ring true with me and I have Venus in Pisces in the 10th house. BUT Maybe it's the squares from Neptune and Jupiter in the 6th that takes away from the meaning of Venus in the 10th. quote: Originally posted by VenusDiSirius: It is mostly how they present themselves, they ooze in beautiful way, they are [b]known for being attractive,it is their reputation that makes them so... Well about the artsy type jobs. I am a teacher aide, I am the one who teaches the art projects to the kids. lol And enjoying where you work, does make such a difference, getting along with the people you work with included. I am guilty of liking older guys. But I've dated guys my age and a bit younger too. Honestly the youngest being 2 yrs younger and the oldest being 10 yrs older. My longest relationship was with a guy 5 yrs older. But well established guys not so much. Or just not yet hopefully. I've sure dated some dead beats. I'm young still and I've changed. I've been single for a yr and a half, I date sometimes though. And proud that the dudes I've dated are an improvement. And now that I am not a teen I get along with my mom again. And a bit off topic but I noticed that Tyra Banks and Janis Dickinson(sp?) both have Venus in Capricorn. IP: Logged |

She forgot to mention that she's been on stage, she does comedy so I think pisces Venus h10 would add femininity/vulnerability to her appeal.
