Adam Brody and Leighton Meester have tied the knot!

Personally, I think their synastry is pretty good. Lets have some fun analyzing! Unfortunately there is no birth time for either chart. Please DISREGARD THE ASC AND HOUSE CUSPS.

Adam Brody

Leighton Meester

I’m really loving his Jupiter/Mars conjunction in Virgo trine her Taurus Venus. Damn! I want synastry like that. Not to mention their fire trines. It's not all perfect though. There are some challenging aspects as well. Actually, I think they have a nice balance of hard aspects (spice) Vs soft aspects (harmony).

I'm sorry, I'm Media-challenged and hopelessly anachronistically inclined.

But I like Robert Planet!

(If That Counts...)

She is born a couple of days after me and I've had my share of Sagittarian romance. I don't feel like it works long term though, but they seem compatible. Who knows? Lol

I have an ex born on the same day as Adam Brody but in 1980. I don't remember any '79 Sagittarians in my life.. Maybe I haven't met one.

If they have Pluto conjunct Moon, it must be intense.

Yeah, I think their cute together. My 7th house ruler is Mercury at 22 Sagittarius. Meester's Sun/Moon in Aries trines this from my 5th house, while Brody's Sun/Neptune in Sag is conjunct it. Maybe that's why there 'togetherness' appeals to me in a way.

I don't usually find trine Sun couples that interesting. I like 'oddly matched' couples, and find it most fascinating when two very different people are in love. Sometimes things that don't make sense on the outside, completely make sense when you look at the synastry.

There are always exceptions to the rule though. This is one trine Sun couple that I actually like.

Yeah they're apart of the not so young hollywood it-crowd.

It's great how they found each other so they can either away in total obscurity

One thing I really like about their synastry is that they have something that could be described as a 'mixed aspect circuit'. They have a 'ring' of planets in different signs ranging from about 19 to 26 degrees all hitting each other with a variety of different kinds of aspects.

Brody...
Sun 23 Sagittarius
Venus 21 Capricorn
Saturn 26 Virgo
Uranus 23 Scorpio
Neptune 20 Sagittarius
Pluto 21 Libra

Meester...
Sun 19 Aries
Moon 24 Aries (degree might be different depending on birth time)
Mercury 22 Pisces
Uranus 22 Sagittarius

Throughout this 'ring' of planets there's conjunctions, oppositions, trines, sextiles, squares, and quincunxes, all creating different types of energy between the two of them. The soft aspects tend towards peace, harmony, and sweetness. The hard aspects tend towards drama, challenge, and excitement. I like to see energy rings like this (created by different types of aspects mixing together) in synastry, as it shows a balance between passion/activity and stability/tenderness in a relationship. Not too boring, but not too crazy either. Just right.
