Topic: What makes you look younger than your years?

Other than optimism, a fit body, carefree life etc  I have always been mistaken for being much younger. Whilst that wasn't an advantage in early teens, it is now. Any ideas which astro aspects might contribute to this condition? I have a Leo Asc, but that isn't known for its youthfullness. My planets are mainly in Libra and Scorpio, other than Jupiter in 1st house, which imparts good health, and, therefore, could be a contributory aspect. IP: Logged |

Oh you have a Leo ASC astrokeen? I have to revise my take on Leo ASC  you come across as so down to earth to me.
I look much younger than my years. What makes me look younger? I don't know. Am cap rising. Does that explain much?

Jupiter on the ascendant (mine is in Pisces). I've been told I look about 5 to 10 years younger than I am. I also know a woman with Jupiter in the 1st in Libra who also looks years younger than she is.IP: Logged |

I look younger than I am (so they say) and according to my love 28 (being 41) but lol that's bull ofcourse because he knows how worried I am that people will think I'm his mom.According to magi-astro it's a Sun/Neptune linkage (called fountain-of-youth aspect) in the natal (including parallel & contra-parallel between them) and that's what I have, a Sun/Nept. contra-parallel 0'10 orb. Btw, this aspect not only stands for a youthful appearance but also for longevity. (the trine/conjunction/quincunx would count in the longitudes). If it has to be Virgo I have Mercury-virgo right on my Asc-virgo within 1*. IP: Logged |

I'll have to agree with this - I have seen this too with my bio father's side of the family. A hell of a lot of Geminis and very young looking people. Even look at Gemini, Michael J Fox. Young looking. I'm middle aged and it doesn't look like I have many gray hairs on my head - this gives the look of being young too.

Ami Ann has Asteroid Youth conjunct her Ascendant, she acts my age, toppled with her Mercury and Sun in Gemini  Mercury/Gemini for the youthful chatty child
Moon/Cancer for the baby faced, moody and clingy child (and attention seeking)

There might be something to the Magi thing. I have Sun trine Neptune, and I'm 31 but people usually assume I'm 15...

I'm 29 and ppl think I'm 20-23 *all* the time. No one thinks I'm my age. I think it might be my gemini mars/mercury.
I think it keeps me young and also gives me a "youngish" attitude.IP: Logged |

Gemini.Gemini rising,and lots of planets in Gemini! Gemini is the eternal Peter Pan!
I would also say Jupiter.Sun conjunct Jupiter people just have that buoyant enthusiasm that seems to keep them young.A strong Jupiter,rising,conjunct major planets,etc.So that would include Sagittarius--IP: Logged |

I have moon and venus in gemini with jupiter on my cancer ASC. I'm almost 35 and I'm told I look younger than I am. But I also act younger... Very free-spirited. I also know a guy with a cap stellium. He was nothing big when he was younger (20's), but now at 35...WOW!!! IP: Logged |

My mom, sister, cousin and I all look about half our ages.Mom turns 62 on April 17. Her Moon and Saturn are in Virgo and her Venus is in Gemini. I don't know her ascendant. My sister is 30. She has her Sun, Mercury, Venus, Uranus, and Neptune all in Sagittarius. Her Moon is in Gemini. I don't know her ascendant. My cousin is 33. She's an Aries with Moon in Virgo. Her face looks exactly like my sister's. I'm 20 (turning 21 in July). My Sun and Venus are in Cancer, Mercury in Leo, Moon and Pluto in Scorpio, Mars in Taurus, Jupiter in Virgo, Saturn in Aquarius, and Uranus and Neptune are in Capricorn. My ascendant is Leo. When I was 18 I was constantly mistaken for a 14 year old by the freshmen, which meant freshman boys hit on me (not cool). On my 20th birthday I was mistaken for a 12 year old. Mom is still mistaken for someone in her 30s and had to redo her senior picture because she looked 10 the first time (she got lucky with 14 the second time and they decided that was the highest age they could manage; she was 18). My sister still gets mistaken for a teenager. My oldest sister is jealous of us all for being "elves" aside from the height thing (she's a little over 5'4" while we're all 5'2"); we all look alike anyway and there's no denying that we're closely related (though my cousin has no relation to my Mom). My baby niece cries whenever I walk into my living room when my oldest sister is gone and she's being babysat by my parents because she mistakes me for her mommy. Vicki, this is really interesting. Can't see any commonalities, though. Gemini and Sagittarius have been mentioned above. You have a Leo Asc like mine and I was thought to be around 5 years younger when 20. Perhaps the answer may lie in the Asc coupled with something else.IP: Logged |
