I don't really know by definition, I can only report by personal experience.

I'm always thought of younger than I am - my personal record was someone in their early 20ies thinking I was something like 27 - that was last New Year's Eve and I turned 38 shortly after that!

My rising sign is Taurus and Venus is in Aquarius with a close conjunction to Mercury. I've often read that mercurial influences in general tend to give you a somewhat youthful appearance. So you're lucky in that aspect if you have a Gemini or Virgo ascendant or maybe the ruler in close aspect to Mercury like me.

I guess that Sagittarius is also not a bad influence to have in terms of looks - it doesn't necessarily make you look younger than you are, but it'll probably make you appear fit and strong at just about any age.

Also strong Capricorn, especially on the ASC. They usually look better with age.

Every gemini i know looks young for their age.

My motherbis a gemini, 55 years old and everyone thinks shes my sister lol!

I'm nearly 32 and 20 year olds often think I'm one of them. The funny part is that people my age often think I'm much younger than them and will treat me somewhat in a patronizing way thinking that I'm really young and immature.

I have both Gemini and Libra stellium, Jupiter on the AC, and I have Saturn on the AC as well but my Saturn is exalted so it didn't prematurely age me like how generally Saturn AC tends to make people look mature beyond their years. In my case, it's the reverse.

I think you just have genes working in your favor, because most of the folks I know who guzzle alcohol all look horrible for their age, they all look way older than they actually are.

I'm 31; everybody assumes I'm fifteen. Some of it is genes; some of it is how I live. I don't live fast like some people do - I'm not promiscuous, I don't drink alcohol, I don't smoke...I live a pretty innocent/clean life, and that shows up on the outside, which is something I think most people don't realize. If you live a wild life...eventually you start to look like you were rode hard and hung up wet...because you were.

I have Mercury conjunct an angle (descendant), Hebe (goddess associated with youth) conjunct my Sun, and the asteroid "Young" in the area where most of my planetary midpoints are, including the sun/moon midpoint.
