It relates to his core/predominant attunement as outlined on your other thread. The Aries part just might add some passion, excitement, and a stronger desire nature to his very strong Jupiter, Uranus, Pisces, etc combo, especially in relation to relationships.

Which could well relate to what you described in the above.

Yes, agree that his chart ruler is (rather widely) conjunct Venus, and that with Venus is in the 5th House, indicates that Venus gets a bit of a boost and highlighted some, which can translate to a more romantic attunement (which is backed by the Fiery, go getting'ness of Aries).

As to romance in general, I suppose we may all have somewhat different interpretations of it. When I think of romance and different levels of same, I think of some sort of combo of one or more of the following: Venus, Moon, Leo, Neptune, Libra, and/or a pinch of Mars with at least one of the other symbols stronger, the most.

Romance to me is not just sex drive and sexual attraction, which is why Mars is only listed as a pinch. It's a sort of being in love with love, and by love, I mean more personal love. It's a dramatizing and ungrounding expansion of the importance of personal love and/or beauty.

And, it can also not relate to relationships at all. It can be the orientation of being very affected by the beauty of a song, a poem, a painting, a movie scene, nature in all it's glory and harmony, the body beautiful, a religious or spiritual truth (though this borders more on philosophy and Jupiter more than romance), etc.

I guess at it's core, romance might be the deeply innate quality of (most) Souls on a deeper level, that comes from our Source, of wanting companionship and to share ourselves with another and seeing and deeply appreciating the beauty in the other (or in creation).

Can you imagine spending what felt like a near eternity completely alone by yourself? How painful and lonely that could become? Is it any wonder that the Source came to so long for companionship, to have a Beloved to cherish and connect to, to share Itself with? Is it any wonder that Love is the true base and foundation of our Souls and of original creation? Love, the desire for positively sharing, recognition of interconnection; merging.

The sex act is a material shadow/reflection of, and is meant to be a reflection, of this innate Divine urge to merge which leads to expansion and potential creation--because the Whole is greater than the sum of it's parts, when those individual parts share themselves with each other.
