Or "ascendant ruler"

I want to make a thread about the chart ruler because I only understand it vaguely. There's not enough information online to quench my thirst for this topic.

The chart ruler is suppose to have a great influence on our characteristics
I've never seen information about the chart ruler and aspects..
Or chart ruler in certain signs...
Which is a bit disappointing...

I mean aspects to your chart ruler must make a huge impact in your life, right?
Are these aspects apparent to others like the asc?

I'm also confused about chart rulers of the scorp, aqua, and pisces asc..
They have multiple chart rulers.. so how does that work?
So what happens if both rulers are in aspect with each other?

Oh, excellent questions! I hope you get a strong response.

TBH I don't really "feel" my chart ruler that much. That might be because it's in a cadent house. My chart ruler is also in accidental reception with my 1st house planet which further blurs it for me. I think I feel my 1st house planet more since it's on my anti-vertex and squaring my Sun. This leads me to believe that the chart ruler doesn't have the same strength/impact for everyone. I'd be interested to hear what others have to say.

My chart ruler and aspects are apparent to others. Venus rules my life, no doubt about it and is in the tenth house, has some Cappy traits to go along with the Leo ones since a Saturn square is involved. If I become too overbearing someone knocks me off my throne.

The sun rules my chart, so I think it's pretty apparent. Certain aspects stand out more than others, as my sun is part of a grand trine as well as a T-square.

I would say that my house placement, conjunctions, and to some degree the grand trine are probably the most apparent to others on a surface level.

My T-square is probably something that people see more of when they get to know me, as it involves my moon and Neptune.

My chart is pretty much co-ruled between Neptune(Pisces Asc, conjunct Sun) and Jupiter thanks to my Sag stellium.

I usually end up displaying both traits in an alternating manner depending the situations.

For example, when I have strong feelings for someone, I display Neptunian/Piscean traits and it starts to dominate in anything related to that relationship. Rest of the time, I'm usually a Jovian/Sag with a Neptunian flavor.

I use the modern ruler but other people like Ceri, I think, use both.

The chart ruler is your body and your walk through life so WHERE it goes, you go.

The House to which it goes will be a big house for you.

I think when things transit and hit the chart ruler, they can hit your physical body like Mars( accidents), Uranus( sudden things)

Am I right on this?

That hasn't been my experience. I also don't think that the house in which my chart ruler falls is particularly important for me, perhaps because other things in my chart overwhelm this. As I mentioned, my chart ruler is in accidental reception with my 1st house planet, so that might be why this doesn't hold true for me. But perhaps that's the kind of info that Kerosene is looking to understand -- whether or not there are exceptions or things that modify a person's experience of their CR.

my chart ruler is venus, and it resides in my 6th house. typical descriptions of a 6th house chart ruler venus are people who need to be of service to other people/doing projects in order to not feel useless and thats really true. i cant sit still and if i am not doing anything i feel like i am just a waste of space and a failure.
