For people with what aspects and placements it's easiest to assmilate in your opinion? I'm talking about moving to a new country.------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

Usually some aspects with Jupiter or planets in Saggitarius. I have Venus in Sag, and many told me to move to another country to find love :PIP: Logged |

Well, I dated 2 guys who live in the otherside of my city. The last lives about 2 hours from my home. And I love foreign people. Hum, that's a good idea Uranus in the 4th house came in my mind now, as sudden move on. IP: Logged |

For placements, I agree with sag/gemini energy and also uranus, 11th house emphasis...Heh, I have sag mercury and I've lived in quite a few different countries. Lol I wasn't even born in my parents' homeland. Not sure about "assimilation" though. I do pick up certain cultural traits that I like though. And I love knowing more about different cultures and lifestyles. I guess having planets in the 12th - "mutable" does help. I don't have many strong cultural convictions and don't have a deep profound love for the motherland, so I'm less likely to go nuts whenever I hear a negative remark or to judge people coz of their different lifestyles. Add a bit of saturn aloofness - thick skin I get along ok with people wherever I go.

I've got the Sag influence (Moon), Jupiter influence (touches everything but Pluto in my chart!), and the Uranus in 4th.Unfortunately, I found it difficult to assimilate when I moved abroad...at least with the locals. They were at best (understandably) indifferent toward my overtures, and given the political situation, were at worst (somewhat understandably) hostile toward people from my country of origin. I assimilated very well with the other foreigners (read: expats), though. ------------------ Sun -> Aries Moon -> Sagittarius Ascendant -> Virgo IP: Logged |

I've lived in a few different countries and although I don't think I have or will ever "assimilate", I feel at home where ever I lay my hat. Sun Sag H2 Moon Sag H2 Mercury Sag H2 Neptune Sag H1 I think I might grow hooves any moment now. I have two planets in 12th. Not sure how that influences. But it was mentioned above. My chart is heavily mutable. I read Mercury in Sag or Merc in the 9th is good for learning foreign languages. That might be helpful with assimilation if you move to a country that speaks a different language.
