I have noticed that this November, a lot of people, including myself have been getting sick. I am having scares of potentially having cancer! What is up?

Covid. RSV. Flu.

I hope you don’t have cancer. That is one thing that terrifies me.

@Plutonianmenace: Unfortunately, it's similar here in Germany. I've noticed as well how our governments' very strict lockdown regulations have really taken a toll on the mental health of people which I find alarming! My health is very good recently. I caught Covid only once and didn't get other illnesses during the last three years.

I don't know about cancer in the US but in Germany it's responsible for 1/4 of all deaths according to the Ärzteblatt. My grandpa died of cancer and a friend of mine caught blood cancer at only 26. She had no chance. I guess the only thing you can do to prevent this horrible disease is to really take care of your body and to go to regular check-ups.

Lockdown has not only reduced our contact with COVID but also other viruses. So we all have lower resistance at the moment. Our immune system just needs to be exposed to certain microbes again. But if you’re experiencing symptoms that have you worried, you should definitely visit a physician.

I’m still wearing masks, trying to avoid getting sick again. My own stomach issues and that food poisoning in October, Covid in July, were enough for me. I think I caught Covid when I briefly removed my mask on a 90+F day, in a bathroom, or when I stood in front of a massive fan in store that was too cheap to have the air-conditioning running.

When you briefly removed your mask? There's no way to tell when or where you caught Covid because masks offer absolutely no protection. You can't stop Covid from spreading. We now know it is airborne. All you can do is focus on treating it. That and boost your immunity.

It's because people have been... Overly cautious the past 2 years and now all of the "normal" viruses and bacteria are having a field day. My son has a PI and when everyone started wearing masks and staying 6 feet apart, he didn't get pneumonia. He's had it every single year, twice a year since birth. This year I'm more afraid of him getting sick because people are not caring anymore and it's spreading like fire.

There is a plant called "back seeds" or formally known as "Nigella sativa". I think you can get it from middle eastern or arab markets. When you mix it with honey it is believed to cure most illnesses. It has a bitter taste but I have grown to like it.

Every time I feel like I am coming down with something, I boil a teaspoon of black seeds, mix it with honey, drink the juice and chew the seeds and swallow, and I am back to normal in less that a couple of hours.

It is fantastic really.

Wouldn't be the mask...not unless you were wearing the same kind of respirators that doctors and nurses will sometimes wear WITH gloves and other protective gear (and even then they put people through the ringer to make sure they weren't sick with possibly Covid before a fully suited up doctor would see them, so even those must not be particularly effective!).

The only benefit is if you are sick, then it lessens your chance of spreading it. Not stop it, just less. It will (maybe, some masks that were sold were worthless) stop much of a sneeze or cough, but not all, and any that gets onto you or your stuff can infect you later. Wearing gloves would do more to protect you than a mask (but a mask would do more to keep you from spreading it if you had it).

If the mask did protect you then you shouldn't worry if others didn't wear it. Be less people to vote Republican if what the Democrat side like to say was true (not that I'm affiliating myself with Republicans here, nor Democrats).

Any idea on how I can get this?

I got it from an international market run by a Chinese couple in our town, they sell all types of middle eastern and Asian spices. An arab friend of mine recommended it and it works like magic. I guess I can send some to you if you're in the US.

But googling I see that some online stores also carry it:

Covid is also spread through the eyes, so wearing goggles is more effective than a mask. A respiratory virus is going to do what it does. I can’t speak for others, and my case may be just a fluke, but I have never caught Covid, and I take zero precautions, although, I do take zinc and D daily. I shake hands, hug, and never use hand sanitizer.

Been reading about it on reddit and it seems to be a Nootropic. Not sure what it will do for cancer but it does seem like some folks are seeing mental benefits of it. I hear a stress free and strong mind can prevent cancer and even help a lot in fighting it.

Vitamin D goes directly into the lungs, and its deficiency is common in people who were harshly impacted by covid

I can say sunlight matters so much. Stayed in for 2 days with blinds closed, played videogames and watched porn, got sick on day 3 with the flu.

For mental health I recently took a supplement called Thesis. It is a mix of blends to keep the mind and body in sync and focused. I have certainly been experiencing much less brain fog since I began taking this product, but my sleep routine is all messed up. I was used to being asleep by 10 pm and waking up very early because I have to commute.

I may cancel my subscription or try their caffeine-free blends.

Another middle-eastern food or substance I find great for the mind is frankincense. The white kind. Very fragrant but super bitter. I chew it like gum and then swallow the remaining.

For Cancer, I think black seed is beneficial, but better to consult with a doctor or use it with other superfoods. Another thing for Cancer I read about online is soursop fruit. And I know some people swear by the Armenian plum seed for Cancer treatment.

*black seeds can cause a significant drop in blood pressure, so make sure you use it with honey. I experienced it first-hand. Big headache when I consumed it alone. But used with honey it didn't give me headaches. I have recommended it to several other people.

I might genuinely try Nootropics in 2023. Have a Dr Appointment set for Jan and I might consult them about it.

I find that when I am not exposed daily to sunlight for at least 7-10 minutes, when the afternoon sun comes around I get this immense inner agony, much like the agitated dementia patients during sunset hours.

I read in old wisdom texts that it is best to show your back to the Sun, rather than the front (maybe because Leo rules the back, and sun rules Leo?). Doctors also recommend avoiding direct and long exposure to the sun from 11 am to 2 pm.

I have a stomach condition that makes me throw up. I was in a bookstore bathroom, when it was really hot, and I shouldn’t have gone out. That’s when I got sick. My masks have protected me from Covid otherwise.

I’d avoided Covid until I removed my mask that day. And I worry about other people, like my dad. More mask-wearing = less of the virus being spread.

A lot of the time, I eat, I get sick, I throw up. Sometimes it’s really bad, and I go into the bigger bathroom stall, take deep breaths, walk it off. Throw up some more. I told my aunt that I hoped I hadn’t deeply inhaled some Covid, when my dad was in bed with heatstroke, two days later. The following day I got sick, 102 degree fever.

The masks and avoiding most things, has helped me, so I’m going to keep doing it. My dog who just died, needed me here most of the time. I got used to being here.

I'm also ****** at the democrats for just dropping the masks. Don't get me started. I used to be an independent, for a reason. But, really, don't get me started. I rant a bit in GU, and then go and do something else.

I wasn’t harshly impacted.

There are people who followed the instructions of those demon sperm doctors, and still died. One woman was upset, because her mum still died. There are people who loaded up on vitamin D, and died anyway.

I'm still surprised that they were able to scam so many people. They were doctors making money through their prescriptions and consultation fees, just like those they (and republicans) were demonizing.

Anyway, I had no intention of debating. I’m not in the mood, and I know what’s helped me: my masks, not eating in restaurants (getting take-out occasionally). Not going to the movies, and if I’m around people, the mask stays on. Outdoors, I’ll remove it when I’m not around others. I don’t have long-Covid. I’m otherwise fine, dealing with the same stomach illness I’ve had for almost thirteen years now.

Practically everyone who was tested for D serum levels were low in D that had severe illness from Covid. Of course, correlational does not prove causality. However, it is thought that the body uses the body's stores of D when fighting it off. The same with zinc. A zinc deficiency can cause loss of taste and smell. As far as masks go, that was the prevailing thought at the time when Covid was (wrongly) thought to pass through droplets. The fact that you caught Covid and then tried to find a reason to justify it happening by focusing on when you removed your mask is not scientific, especially when the CDC has admitted that the cloth masks everyone is wearing are useless against Covid. But whatever makes you FEEL safe is fine, I guess. You could just carry a "magic" rock, or something for the same effect.

Kindly keep your political trash talk off the Astrology forum. Thank you.

I would choose D (that has studies to back it up) over a thin piece of cloth (that now has studies showing it is ineffective) any day. The fact that someone took D and still died doesn't mean D isn't important. THE AVERAGE PERSON WHO DIED HAD 7 COMORBITIES. Seven. Such as diabetes and being obese. You can't be morbidly obese and expect D to cancel out your risks.
