Okay, I have recently become fascinated with the MC/IC. There is not much info on IC, but here is my theory. The sign that your IC is in, is a moon sign you find very comforting to you-they act protective towards you; mother like regardless of sex. My IC is in Leo and I used to wonder why I feel this with lunar leos, being that I have no leo placements (part of fortune is in the 5th house, but as far as main placements-it is empty). I think it can also being any major placement(sun,etc) but I think being that the 4th house is the house of the moon , that that is the most powerful. If someone has their moon in the house of the sign that is your IC it would be sort of similar.

Does anybody agree?

i think that is so true in my case. i have aquarius in the 4th & an aquarian moon made me feel that bond. i think that their moon conjunct my ic & also my moon conjunct their asc too tho.

Well, I have the Moon and IC being in the same sign; Cancer.

The natal IC,however, squares my Pluto and Mars.

I think Moon in Cancers/Capricorns feel very uncomfortable as a result of this.

My Dad has Sun crossing the IC/MC axis and this squaring my Pluto and widely squaring my Mars.

I have very strong feelings about him: Not exactly flattering.

Interesting, I haven't really met any Scorpio moons to notice that specifically because Scorpios in general have been protective/nurturing to me, with all their conjunctions to my IC in scorp.
I wish there was more info on the ic!!

I'm going to call myself Lindaland's (self-professed) serial Scorpio moon dater! There's been quite a few of them plus my mom is one. Obviously I have a Scorpio IC (and NN). What I'm about to say just struck me: there was a time I had huge issues with my mom. She's a bad alcoholic and a bitter albeit extremely intelligent ****. Most my life I just wanted to get away from her and I didn't have the backbone to tell her to keep her rambling mouth shut. During this timespan I also met many Scorpio Moons and they all felt like home. Home away from home. A nicer home than the one I had been suffering through. But they all also provided very hard and painful lessons I had to learn.

Then one day I had enough of her, I will silently thank my lover, Pluto the planetoid, and I spilled my rage. Told her the truth. She tried fighting me (triple Scorpio and Aries rising) but I stood up and said "if you ever talk to me like that again I will kill you". I meant it.

Ever since that day other signs have come forth and especially ones that are complimentary for my own Cappy Moon. I seem to attract Virgo Moons and I like them very much despite not being a fan of Virgo-anything in general.

Doesn't work for me. I have Moon, IC, and Neptune all in Sagittarius.

While there is instant recognition I've never connected with them emotionally, or felt at ease around other Lunar Sags. And after recent run-ins with five Sags of different moon signs I'm starting to wonder. This after all used to be my absoultest favorite sun sign.

Hmm, maybe. I'm a Cap moon myself with a couple of conjunctions, so I don't know how much that colours it.

But I think so? Especially the suns and Venuses tend to really look out for me, and I want to look out for them. Other Cap moons do touch me deeply, I can sense they're very sensitive.

With my moon here, Cancer moons are often drawn to me, too. Not that I mind, no. Never really understood what was so bad about them, for me the clinginess is kind of sweet.
