I've been close friends with someone for a few years now but the friendship is difficult despite a compatibility. They just seem to bring out the worst parts of me and I don't like it, nor do I know if we're really all that good for each other in reality. Lo and behold, we have hard aspects in our composite synastry. You guys tells me.

Sun square Moon
Sun conjunction Saturn
Sun square Pluto
Mars square Pluto

I have Sun conj Saturn and SUn sq Moon in my composite with someone, and i've been wondering the same thing!

You say you've been friends for a while, so at least there's some longevity and durability there (right?). Makes sense with the Sun-Saturn conjunction..

I've read the Sun-Moon square can be trouble, as it indicates the two people are heading in different directions in life, and find it hard to compromise with each other.

I ended things just last week, so I guess the chart pretty much predicted it. :x She got really smothering and squelching, so I bounced.
