Good question! I can't answer because I do not have these placements. But I am curious. IP: Logged |

I have Cancer Mars (on MC) trine Scorpio Pluto (2nd house). I don't like making any long term plans or schedules, so I seldom do. This might be because of my strong Neptune (on IC, opposite Mars, sextile Pluto)... For the same reason I don't like taking on any big projects, and if I do I tend to run out of steam half way through. If it's a big project it needs to be unplanned and creative, otherwise I'll just lose interest, and when I lose interest a project always fails. I don't have any self dicipline in the long run. I can't just grind along until something is done, if it isn't fun it needs to be very quick. But when it comes to smaller projects I am very good at planning. If I'm do something for the first time I'll spend a lot of time beforehand planning my approach so that I get things done in the most efficient way possible. And things that I do often have a very rigid and well-planned routine to them. IP: Logged |

i laughed at this because i have mars in capricorn, and i find it very hard to stick to plans, they're very inconvenientif something interests me and the mood strikes i can work at it tirelessly, like if i start writing i can go without sleep and do absolutely nothing else or i can spend forever on writing a song etc but otherwise no if there's no interest it's only happening if it absolutely has to and i have zero choice and then probably at the last minute, if other people are dependent on it i'm more likely to do it but otherwise eh i find plans very constraining and i'd really rather do the minimum to get by if at all possible when i'm not invested in something, and i'm generally not very invested in things i'm also big on keeping things to myself because announcing things is unwanted pressure or comes with too many opinions feels like bad luck etc IP: Logged |

virgo sun, this is my chart chart i find making plans very tedious, and sticking to them gives me a lot of anxiety i'm not good with rigid routines or plans and i don't like deciding on things far in advance typically because i find it very constraining if someone wants to see me on friday then call me on friday last minute and say you're showing up soon or something instead of asking me monday plans just get in the way of doing things in ways that are convenient or bearable i get easily distracted too and drop projects and leave them unfinished a lot and purge stuff every so often i find the capricorn mars stereotypes kind of a lot to live up to and very unlike me IP: Logged |

I have Mars in Scorpio right on my Scorpio ASC. It's also parallel Pluto in declinations. I definitely do a lot of planning, but I'm also an Aqua Sun/Mercury and I do a lot of thinking and planning anyway. My mind can sometimes feel like it is on overdrive, but I have very intense feelings and go through a lot of emotions (Moon-Pluto doesn't help lol). I tend to keep it to myself though; I just don't like making emotional scenes in front of people and prefer to deal with my feelings in private. I've noticed a lot that I tend to strongly feel out the vibe and energy of a room, and I am very good at picking out emotional cues from people. I can tell in an instant if someone is in a bad mood. Sometimes I just won't spend my time around people if they give me bad signals, and will only talk to them if I have to. IP: Logged |

What's it like to have Scorpio Mars right on your Ascendant? Are you very independent? IP: Logged |

I have Mars trine Pluto (less than 2 degree orb) and I kinda am a planner? I'm someone that likes to plan in BROAD strokes - like a monthly plan, a yearly plan, even a 5 year plan. But when it comes to the day-to-day details I prefer to wing it and not have a strict schedule. Every time in my life when I have forced myself to focus on minutiae and plan out every hour, minute, second of my day I end up revolting against that schedule and never want to do it again So I have to give myself A LOT of grace but yes I'd say I am a planner on a macro scale (I am also a Virgo Rising though so yeah in many ways I can be typical - I do love myself a good spreadsheet and planner) IP: Logged |

Mars in Cancer trine Pluto in Scorpio here. Long-term planner? No. I lose motivation very easily, so it's hard for me to plan super far ahead. It's difficult for me to push myself in certain situations due to my lack of energy and/or interest, so I don't get ambitious with long-term plans. I prefer to take small steps and see where they take me. One day at a time, and all of that. That being said, when it comes to daily tasks, I'm a control freak. I like to plan everything in advance because I absolutely HATE surprises. I also get easily distracted by my own ******** if I don't have a well-planned routine, so being organized, having a steady schedule, keeping all my computer folders/documents in order and other silly stuff like that is really helpful. I've known quite a few of these.1 - Mars (male): "Driven" (but probably due to out-of-sign conj with Sun). I knew them in their teens so perhaps finer traits hadn't yet manifested. 2 - Mars and conj (female) - Not expressive (Sun-Mars Sq probably), but they delighted in exercises of will and fortitude. 3 - Mars and conj and H10 AND conj Sun plus opposite Moon: Planner, control-freak like the person above me/'sweat the small stuff' (but wasn't controlling of others - Moon opp Mars I think), long-term 'life goals' planner but my brief time knowing them they were not good at perseverance (heavy Mars making them very in-the-moment, 'impatient', have not-deniable emotions?). 4 - Opposition, Taurus Mars: extremely "hard-worker". 'Staying power', but not ambitious or driven instead enjoyed lazing about (Mars in Taurus). 5/6: I've also been close to an Opp and a Square, but nothing relevant can really be said (the aspects are hard to write about without it describing the Sign (see #4)). My mars is only biquintile Pluto, which is supposed to indicate a talent? I try to plan, but it doesn’t always work out. I once started to cry, away from everyone else, when we had family visiting from England, and I was sticking to a schedule for exercise. I was also still somewhat agoraphobic, and the exercise helped with anxiety. They wanted me to skip a day, to go somewhere. I prefer not having to stick to anything like that, though. Although, when I leave the house, I’ve been told that I look like I’ve packed for a weekend away. I have toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, tea towels, cutlery (we’ve got food, but been given nothing to eat with before, on the road). Blanket, if it’s cold. Tylenol. You get the idea. I think more along the lines of hydration, first aid, fuzzy teeth needing a quick brush, etc. snacks. A lot of books. Podcasts on the phone, maybe a movie downloaded. I want to get vaccinated (covid), but I’ve been having teeth and gum issues, and once again, I have a bit of pain and an ear ache, when I was hoping to get the shot. I might do it anyway, unless they tell me not to. Anyway, I’ve been accumulating things like children’s liquid Advil, since they don’t make it for adults. One girl said, “Tylenol didn’t help with the pain, but Advil did.” She only had arm pain, with the first shot, but the second, she was sick for two days - my usual, if I eat something, so I’m already prepared for being sick to my stomach, or dehydration/dizziness. I have Epsom salts if I want a bath, for aching muscles. I just want to be prepared. I’m an Aries with a Scorpio ascendant, too. My emotions can get in the way. I used to be a member of a goal-setting site, and a group continued it on Facebook, but I’m keeping things more to myself, too. You don’t get people prodding you to do something, or asking for updates when you aren’t ready to update. Occasionally, you come across people who are happy when you fail, so I’d rather find another way to cheer them up. IP: Logged |

I *want* to control my actions and be tough - and I am - but not in a way that I feel people can see. So they often take me for granted or take my power away. And I‘ve let them because I‘m a fire person and I‘m too open for my own good and I wanted to be liked. Now it‘s more important that I like myself. I really have a hard time accepting these deep waters influencing my behaviour and my actions, still. Right now, I want to learn to be this typical earthling who knows how to be methodical and practical, who goes into work, follows the to do list, doesn‘t get excited or angry and then goes home on time, no energies lost. It‘s probably due to the Saturn transit.
Ditto. I used to be more of a people-pleaser, and I feel like there are times when I haven’t been seen as a separate human being. IP: Logged |

Mars/Asc parallel Pluto in natal and Mars conjunct Pluto 1H progressed chart. I don’t like to plan at all! I find it tedious, boring and it also, in my mind perhaps, alters my sense of freedom. I’m extremely spontaneous and it’s even hard for me to stick to doctor’s/dental appointments UNLESS I happen to get in the very same day I want to go. However, when planning relates to work and also sticking to those plans, I’m 100% reliable!IP: Logged |

I plan the fk out of everything I do lolI even plan and choreograph every single movement and step. Example, in the kitchen I plan how to most efficiently make my meal/ drink and then gtfo out of there and go back to work. Where do I step? How many minutes do I have on the microwave? What else can I cram in those minutes? How long will it take for me to fill up this glass/teapot? How far from the sink to the microwave? Who's going to come in and interrupt me (if anyone?)? This is just a small example of everything I plan! If going on a trip, I find out every minute it will take to get there, and know when I will be tired. If I know I'll be tired by 8 pm on the road, I'll plan for a coffee and look on a map that shows the nearest place that I know will come up around the exact kilometer and the nearest time, so I don't get lost, and then get a coffee to perk me up and get back on the road. I also enjoy the mathematic experience of it all, adding and subtracting actions and time. Of course, I can "turn it off" if needed, but I often actually enjoy it, and I like predicting every movement from others, and everything around me, and every event, and see how nicely it fits into my plans. If things go more or less as planned (deviations included) I feel enormous satisfaction
I've been planning my life since I was a kid (sure, not all plans panned out obviously) But I don't have scorp mars. I have 5th house Virgo mars, but it's only sextile Pluto. I've no Scorpio in my chart really, and my pluto is 7th house of "other" so I've no clue if that means anything significant about my own planning nature. Honestly I just think it's my virgoan nature (Mars and Merc) more than anything. Pluto and Scorpio are often sloppy and slovenly according to my hyper planning nature lol IP: Logged |

How do define which one we are? Scorpio/Mars or Mars/Pluto? My Mars is actually in Aries (the decan of Mars too), My Pluto is ruled by Mercury (in Mercury decan) and Scorpio house is in Neptunes natural home with Jupiter (in Mars decan).IP: Logged | |
